The hotel's location is excellent, and the facilities are great too. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was very welcoming. The only minor inconvenience is that you have to go up the mountain for meals.

Hidden Mountain Retreat (Galang Royal Palace Branch) is located halfway up the mountain (Figure 1). This hotel is a few dozen meters below the Royal Palace Branch, on the edge of the village, with wetlands, snow-capped mountains, and boardwalks behind it. Both hotels share the same name and offer beautiful scenery, each with its own unique charm. I visited during the dry season, and personally, I found the scenery and balcony of this hotel more appealing (Figures 3 and 4). For dining, I recommend going to a popular restaurant with great views (Figure 8). The cuisine is Sichuan style, and the food is quite good (Figures 10-13). The breakfast is also plentiful (Figures 15-17). The hotel uses Jurlique toiletries and provides plenty of snacks and drinks. The shower area has strong water pressure, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The first floor features an intangible cultural heritage craft experience area. Compared to other hotels along the way, this one offers excellent value for money. My only suggestion: the toilet doesn't have automatic heating in winter, so it gets cold.

I completely forgot to leave a review for this absolutely gorgeous guesthouse! It was truly the most beautiful hotel of the entire trip. The breakfast was also exceptional; I'll never forget the stone pot chicken soup. I'll definitely go back next spring!

In such a remote location, there's a hidden gem – a five-star luxury wilderness hotel! A truly delightful surprise! The receptionist is a gem! She's incredibly responsive and offers super thoughtful advice; she's not the type to be clueless. The rooms are a perfect blend of design and stunning views; the view from the window is like a painting. The best part is the constant temperature and humidity! The moment I stepped inside on a rainy day, I went from being soaked to feeling dry and comfortable. I recommend borrowing a traditional ******* outfit from the hotel to take photos at the nearby Galang Palace ruins. My child was so reluctant to leave, asking if we could stay another night.

The mattress in the room was very soft and satisfying, and the quilt was also fluffy and comfortable. The hotel's outdoor view was beautiful, right on the wetland. The staff were also very nice, smiling and considerate. There was also a ******* incense and sachets made by an intangible cultural heritage inheritor. The sachets were very unique and I had never seen them before. The scenery in the village was very beautiful.

Environment: Garang Village is very quiet, free from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions. The hotel faces Garang Lake, a tranquil and beautiful place. Service: The two ladies at the hotel were extremely friendly, and I felt the long-lost human touch of homestay service.

The view from the window was breathtaking, and the room was beautiful and clean. The only downside is that this hotel is the same one as the one in the palace up the mountain, so you have to go up the mountain for meals and laundry. It's a bit far. The food up there was amazing! The ingredients were excellent, the view was stunning, and they even had stone pot chicken soup for breakfast, which was delicious. The wait staff were also very friendly.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the lake. The rooms all have large floor-to-ceiling windows with great views. The rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy. The mini bar has a wide selection of drinks, including local Gastrodia elata and tea. It's worth mentioning that the toiletries are Jurlique, which shows the hotel's dedication. The staff are also incredibly welcoming. The view from the room is also incredible. When I woke up in the morning, I was greeted by mist and the sound of birdsong. The scenery was truly stunning. I'll definitely come back someday.
