Shanxia Hotel

The hotel is quite large and well-established locally, with official star ratings. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming. The hardware facilities are excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. There is a dedicated parking lot. You can see snow-capped mountains from the room 🏔. Right at the doorstep is a square, and the hotel sits by a river where there is a night market. In the evening, there is lively Guozhuang dancing, and we joined in too. It was a wonderful experience of unique ******* culture.

The hotel's overall hygiene was excellent, with clean and tidy rooms. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and assigned us a room with a fantastic view. On clear days, we could see the snow-capped mountains and the Palong Tsangpo River directly from our room, which was absolutely stunning. They also promptly assisted us with any issues, which was a huge plus. However, the breakfast experience was quite disappointing. The fried eggs were cold, and the apples provided were pre-cut, oxidized, and completely inedible. The rest of the food was also quite ordinary. Additionally, there were guests smoking in the lobby, and I hope the hotel can improve its management to maintain a pleasant environment in public areas. I hope they can improve the quality of breakfast and enforce the no-smoking policy in the lobby in the future. That would make the overall experience even more perfect.

After returning from Metok, we chose the Sanxia Grand Hotel because of its excellent location in the city center, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining. The view from the window was also great. The hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the cleanliness was top-notch.

The room offered stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and the Parlung Tsangpo River. The room was clean, and the Chinese breakfast was quite good. The only downside was a slight odor in the bathroom. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The cleanliness of this hotel was absolutely appalling. The toilet was covered in filth, and the room had a terrible smell. Luckily, the receptionist was very kind and helpful; otherwise, I would have filed a complaint. Those planning to travel the 318 highway should think twice before choosing this hotel.
