Casa Blanca B&B

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Charming luxury BnB well located in Bordeaux. Super comfy suite, great king sized bed. Air conditioned and very comfortable. Great host and it was a nice touch to be welcomed with the decadent chocolate chunk cookies. Lovely breakfast with your choice of eggs or avocado (plus all the pastries, cheese and French bread you expect in France). I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

This hotel is amazing. We stayed in room 2- it’s stunning. Enormous room and bathroom with separate toilet. A balcony where you can watch the locals going by. And very comfortable bed. The breakfast is excellent and the downstairs lounge area is a lovely spot to relax. Staff are great. This was our best accommodation in 6 weeks travelling Europe.

Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux.

Amazing accommodation in beautifully renovated house. The host, Gildas was extremely responsive and her restaurant recommendations were excellent. Breakfast was of a very high quality with fresh ingredients. We will certainly return to Casa Blanca when we next visit Bordeaux.

Great location for walking around Bordeaux. Large room and excellent bathroom. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Our only concern was that to reach the rooms you had to climb stairs with your luggage and as we had heavy suitcases it was not easy

We loved our time at Casa Blanca, the room was really spacious and well set up, and the breakfast every morning was delicious! They also gave us great recommendations for dining, and personally arranged some winery tours for us in Margaux. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Exceptional & Superb Review of CASA BIANCA B&B Wonderful Exceptional Superb: I am reluctant to wrote this review for you who might stay based on it will make it so popular that I will in the future find no vacancies for my next stay. Rooms: I stayed in rooms 3 as well as 4. The rooms are very large ( twice the size of a standard room) with high ceilings, emasculated appointed with stylish furnishings. With marble fireplaces and high ceilings. Bathrooms large many rooms with baths. Breakfast: in a large reception room and a conservatory with glass ceiling. Eggs, baguette and croissant and bowl of cut up fruit. Great coffee fresh ground. Other delights as you wish. Region: near the large public park. Close to numerous great restaurants and short walk to tram stop to access all sites. Many other luxuries you will see if you stay. Thank you Gildas, Lelou and Selma for a memorable stay.

We loved it so much. What a beautiful house, lovely rooms, very, very nice service. And we loved the breakfast. We would always stay there, if we looked for something in Bordeaux again. And a nice area of Bordeaux to stay in. Thank you very much for this very pleasant stay.
