It’s such a lovely experience that they have campsites with all the activities such as cannons and SUP etc at very reasonably price!

We were highly anticipating this family 'glamping' trip due to the reputation of Habitat being an incredible place to stay. Whilst the surrounding environment was stunning, the amenities left a lot to be desired. We have seen better camp kitchens at places half the price. The shower/toilet block was dirty even after being cleaned. No light outside the ladies block with an uneven concrete block to negotiate in the dark. We took 6 children including a 4 year old on a 3 hour canoeing adventure - no safety briefing and the conditions were very dangerous. We returned after 1.5 hours having capsized 3 out of 4 canoes and only travelled 500m. The man working solo on the water craft hire was run off his feet, could have had at least one other staff member to help him. Habitat could definitely do better!

This is a review of the restaurant only. We did not stay overnight at Habitat Noosa but did enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant while waiting for our Everglades cruise. The food was delicious, the coffees were good and service was prompt. I have reviewed the cruise separately (excellent) and should have added that we had difficulty finding Habitat Noosa. Our sat nav did not recognise the address, Eland Point, and google maps cut out when we lost signal a few km down the road. We had phone signal and rang reception to get old fashioned directions.

Not a good experience. Our booked sites were under water but no-one rang us to let us know. We got there and could choose another site (next to toilets, bar, muddy areas). Any changes over the phone they charge you for, even if you tried to adjust on the website yourself. The booking at their restaurant you had to give your credit card up front and would be charged if you don't show up. Won't be going back!

Don’t visit in wet weather - no drainage no dry paths just mud and ankle deep puddles- filthy kitchen for Safari tents and ankle deep water and rats feeding from filthy bucket of rancid fat left under gas BBQ ! Definitely not worth the money paid The answer? Upgrade your facilities concrete paths and drainage and your cleaning schedules - kitchen and bathroom not cleaned while we were there Management should give a refund in wet conditions or just close in the wet if they want happy customers - but it seems they don’t. Summary if it’s wet or even if it might be wet don’t go. Save your money. Go on a fine sunny day and take a canoe out.

Booked 2 nights but left after 1. Great spot, nice staff and the facilities are fine but it is nowhere near worth the price they charge. We stayed on a lake front site. Now it is not the parks fault that it was extremely windy and they offered to move us but ladies and gentlemen if you want a windy spot to camp just chose allotment 3. My god! Also we had no idea that the site was all sand! Bar and bistro are lovely but very expensive for what it is. Fish and Chips were nice but charging an extra 3 for a tiny bit of salad on the plate is ridiculous. All in all I wouldn’t return here. So overcrowded and overpriced. They pack people into the campsites and kids are literally everywhere. Not at all relaxing and parents don’t control their kids. If you have kids then this is the place. If you don’t, find somewhere else.

We booked a three night Glamping holiday, paying in full, a year in advance. We were attracted by the promise of a quiet glamping experience, close to nature and wildlife and the 10pm silent curfew. We paid $329 per night for a family glamping tent. Upon arrival on the 27th December we were dismayed to see a large group of over 20 people drinking at the tent next to ours. It was 7pm and they were already drunk. They ignored the 10pm curfewed and the camp wasn't silent until after midnight. Not only were they drunk, they shouted and had really loud conversations right outside our tent. I spoke to a staff member the next morning and explained that it wasn't ideal and I hoped it wouldn't happen again. The next night was even worse. The same group were drunk and argumentative until after 1am, much shouting right outside our tent. We decided not to stay a third night as we felt our holiday was not at all what we were led to believe it would be. We could have chosen to camp anywhere and take our chances at a regular camping ground, but we chose this experience for the serenity they promise. When we checked out early we explained the situation again to the staff (morning of the 29th). I asked for the manager to call me and I asked politely for our third night to be refunded. I was told they would call me later in the day. They didn't. I called the next morning and was again informed they would call me back. They didn't. I have called every day for five days and I also sent an email on the 30th outlining our experience and asking for someone to contact me. Nothing. It's now the 4th of January and six days since we checked out. Not one staff member has engaged with us over what happened, nor listened to our story, nor taken any interest in speaking to us or responding in any way. We have been completely ghosted. I've never encountered such appalling customer service in my life. We visit this area twice a year and have family in Boreen Point. We'll be telling everyone we know about this extremely negative experience and how utterly disappointing our holiday was and how the management has zero interest in customer service.

Great family holiday! The kids had a great time!! Highly recommend! Bar/restaurant was awesome and had delicious pizza. Would be super amazing if they had a better AC unit in there. The lake was really cool. Only downside was that it was very very hot and humid in January and the lake was very warm so wasn't very good at cooling you down. Would be perfect spot in cooler months.

Whilst we enjoyed our time spent with friends at Noosa Habitat, the amenities did not meet our expectations and put a dampener on the experience given the price paid to stay in the wilderness glamping tents. These tents were dusty and cobweb ridden. They did not look like they had had a deep clean in quite some time. Holes in the fly screens had sticky tape covered over instead of proper repairs with fly screen tape, and even still, there were big rips still existing, which allowed for mozzies and other insects to get in. The toilets were much the same with a decent build up of cobwebs in the corners and dirt and grime around the inside of the toilets and showers. The camp kitchen closest to the wilderness tents left much to be desired and were quite dismal. The staff were super friendly and when we told them there was no microwave in the camp kitchen they made sure there was one put in ( but odd that they did not know there was one missing 🤷🏼‍♀️), they also were apologetic about the holes in our fly screen. The food served at the restaurant was PHENOMENAL- we would be back just to eat there!! All in all it was a nice time but we would 100% not pay the price to stay in the wilderness tents and next time would take the cheaper options of an unpowered site with dinners at the restaurant.
