In July 2023 we booked to stay in Hotel Valtellina for a skiing holiday in January 2024 to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday through a UK ski tour operator. We were due to arrive on 27th Jan but on our way to Gatwick on the evening of 26th, received a call from our tour operator to say the hotel had just contacted them saying they were overbooked and wouldn’t honour our booking! No further explanation or apology from the hotel, it was just fait accompli. We had carefully selected to stay at this hotel and the alternative the tour company luckily managed to get us into was not something we would have chosen but at least it meant our special holiday wasn’t totally ruined. If you’re not booking this hotel directly beware, assume they could do the same to you. How they can’t honour a booking made six months prior I just don’t understand. I’d like Hotel Valtellina to know they spoilt what we hoped would be a special celebration holiday

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. We stayed in the Alpine suites which were comfortable and well equipped. Everything was clean and great quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was beyond our expectations - an amazing breakfast variety and at dinnertime, there was a 4 course dinner every night with choices. Everything was delicious. The hotel was close to a bustop - and we could ski directly to the back door. Also an easy walk into the centre of town. The only disadvantage was that at the time we were there, there weren't any young people staying for our teenagers to interact with

Review for the hotel restaurant. Awful service! Servants cheted on the bill by adding aditional drinks for 15€. When asked to correct it, the servant said that it was our fault that we accepted the bill and showed us the door. Unacceptably poor attitude and service. It spoiled whole evening experience. Can not be recommended!

Feels like coming home in Hotel Valtellina. Great people, a**osphere, gastronomy and wellness. New cosy design rooms! Ski lifts in the backyard, shops nearby. We come here with our family for more than 15 years now, looking forward to our next stay!

Excellent Hotel and Accommodation: fantastic service and reception; Very appreciated food and a**osphere during all vacation time, excellent to regenerate yourself. Suggested also only for a week-end and a short family vacation.. :-)

Albergo e centro benessere molto pulito - il personale gentilissimo e disponibile . Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel e devo dire che le portate erano abbondanti e buonissime. Se ritornero' a Livigno sara' senz'altro il mio albergo.

Ottima accoglienza, personale gentile e disponibile, camera ampia, pulita e ben arredata. Pasti eccellenti, colazione ottima a buffet. Parcheggio ampio e comodo. Nei pressi del centro, a meno di 1 km dalla zona più centrale del paese

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo super hotel per 3 notti ad aprile 2024, occasione per festeggiare anniversario di matrimonio. Questo è quello che NOI a abbiamo trovato: Attenzione al cliente, sia in reception durante il check-in che durante le richieste di informazioni. I ragazzi in sala colazione che in ristorante molto attenti e premurosi e sopratutto (non scontato) molto simpatici. Camera superlativa, avevamo prenotato una camera comfort, poi abbiamo avuto la possibilità di cambiare con la camera superior, (con differenza di prezzo) e al nostro arrivo la signora Roberta ci ha riservato il meglio del meglio cioè la suite al prezzo della superior…. Che dire …. Un bellissimo regalo per il nostro anniversario. Le proposte della cucina con il servizio di mezza pensione è un tripudio di “arte culinaria”. Pasta fresca fatta in casa, abbinamenti che sono una scoperta si sapori e gusti speciali. Non da meno il centro benessere, non esageratamente grande, ma gestito con la prenotazione di un ora prestabilita in modo da non creare caos e far godere il servizio nel migliore dei modi ai clienti. Questo hotel merita davvero molto.

Posizione perfetta, direttamente sulla via principale, ma allo stesso tempo molto silenzioso Molto pulito e con stanze spaziose e moderne Il personale è gentile e molto disponibile, abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade gratuito della camera, infatti avevo prenotato una matrimoniale standard e ci hanno invece dato una matrimoniale superior, probabilmente ristrutturata da poco. Chicca finale, avendo prenotato servizio in mezza pensione, abbiamo usufruito del ristorante. Buonissimo!!!!!! Molta scelta e cucina locale preparata con diverse sfaccettature. Da tornarci
