Have a lovely stay at the trouville. Can't go wrong for the price. Yes a bit dated on one side but for the location and price you can't grumble. Lovely staff and even have an indoor pool

Good 1 night stay at Trouville. Check in process was easy, gentleman at the desk was nice. Signage to the rooms could be a little better, and floors were exceptionally creaky but didn’t bother me. Room was clean other than a stain on the chair. No plug sockets by the bed but plenty across the room. Free tea and coffee in the room, tv, soap and body wash. Radiator worked very well. Good value for money.

Entry from the car park to level -2 with stairs or lift access to Reception at level 0; (Additional access direct to street via a few steps at level 0 too); Check in was very quick with a short form to sign / append car registration if using the hotel's car park; Unfortunately 1 lift was out of order for the duration of our stay but there were very few times we noted the other lift was already in use; From here we had to traverse the complete length of the hotel to our room at the other end with stairs up and down, to find our room with window looking out over the laundry delivery area but some views of the sky still possible; By the admission of the staff, the hotel is (over)due a refurbishment and the whole place looks tired and worn, although noted to be clean; However shower cubicle in the room was plenty big enough, and the light-up mirror over the sink was good. The mixer tap on the hand basin appears to be plumbed L/R opposite to the markings on the tap; Plenty of plug sockets in the room, some with USB sockets. A big plus was the breakfast which was plentiful and efficiently overseen and served; Choices included standard cooked, cereals, fruit, etc with juices and hot beverages; No dinner was served but the hotel is is close proximity to several other venues within a 10-15min walk into the town centre; Also very close by is the BIC and the Pier / Seafront is less than 10 min walk; The Pool / Gym / Sauna is not very large but adequate and while the Hot Tub was warm with very vigorous jets, the Sauna was quite cool at the time of visiting. All in all, a nice enough place for a couple of nights, quiet and relaxing, with attentive staff.

Needs a good clean and more wall sockets The kettle is at a place where it can’t even reach the socket The bed was broken so sleeping was uncomfortable We had about 5 squares of toilet paper on arrival The floor boards creak every where in the room Could be nice with some money spent on it as it’s a good location

The hotel should be shut down and refurbished. It is a very dirty place. The location is fine but the rooms need an uplift. The chairs are very torn and needs to be replaced. We had to check out the following day to get a decent place for the rest of our holidays.

Just needs to be a bit more updated and the room had mouldy windows and just not what I’d go back to! The people were very polite tho especially the bloke that met me at reception! Guys a legend

Not really sure where to start, so we arrived and checked in to be greeted with a £12 a night parking fee that wasn’t advertised, to be given a room that while spacious hasn’t been decorated or updated since the 70’s. Aluminium window frames that were peeling, a mattress so soft it was almost non existent, I won’t even bother with the pillows! After a few drinks and dinner in town decided to get a glass of wine at the hotel bar before bed, mistake! The one member of staff was happy for us to wait 10 minutes whilst he carried on playing on his phone at reception. Breakfast on day was ok day 2 a joke, ran out of butter and a 20 minute wait for the hot buffet because the cook had overslept! Then too my last night PLEASE READ!!! A fire alarm went off at 12:22 the hotel evacuated as you’d expect BUT no role call no check that all guests were safe in fact not a single member of staff interacted with us at all. The alarm was silenced and back to bed we went. I haven’t mentioned about black mold on the roof above the swimming pool,or the sauna that looked like an overturned electric fire! The hotel is being either run into the ground and no money spent on it or they haven’t a clue. No customer service no luxury no 3 star hotel. Avoid for your own peace of mind and your safety!!

Poor quality hotel. Should be 1star. Very old. Room was not cleaned. Mould on the swimming pool. Horrible stay. Try to avoid

Food was great. Twin bed one was broken. Facility is old and floor was creaking and sounding so loud in the night. WiFi is great.

Very friendly helpful staff, the room is basic but very clean. Great value for money.

Great location, close to town and the beach, if they refurbished the hotel the price wouldn’t be such a bargain. Keep expectations low and just need some ware to sleep you be happy.

Was all clean and very good ans would defo go there agian it did the job for 1 day and I was happy with the accommodation only thing that can be improved is there was no charger wholes I had to have a plug
