I received a significantly worse room than the one I booked, and the hotel is refusing to change it. I booked a “Standard Country House Double with Garden View”, which, according to the description and photos, includes two large windows, two armchairs with a table, and is located on the 1st or 2nd floor. Instead, I was given a “Small Double Room” on the 3rd floor, with only one small window and without the two armchairs and table, which is clearly a lower-category room and materially different from what I booked. The reception manager informed me that the hotel is fully occupied and that changing the room is not possible. Additionally, upon check-in, the reception manager refused to provide the room keys unless I “mandatorily provided my email address” in a notebook. This appears to be a violation of privacy and personal data protection. The dental kit is not included in the room by default and is available only for an additional charge. The room does not have a refrigerator. +1 extra star for the fresh berries and really good breakfast.

The room was quite good, simple and clean. The hotel restaurant was beautiful, and I really enjoyed dining there. The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk to the lake.

Amazing location, walking distance to the lake and town centre. Good breakfast. Parking slots are available. However, the radiator and towel rail in the room didn't work properly, was freezing during midnight.

The place was amazing and situated in a great place. Very near to a lot of amenities like bars and restaurants plus some shops. The staff were amazing and so polite. We was made to feel like we was at home. Our room was huge and had a great view of the gardens. Breakfast was outstanding and very tasty highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here again in the future

The hotel is conveniently located 6-7 minutes from the station and lake area, making it easy to access boats and buses. The hotel's environment is pleasant, but honestly, the rooms are quite average. The carpet was a bit dirty, and there were multiple stains on the sofa. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo, no shower gel, but there was a small bar of soap. However, the breakfast included with the room was surprisingly good. The à la carte main courses were very English and definitely worth praising. Just for the breakfast alone, I would recommend this hotel.
