Not 24 hrs front desk, and even need a slot to have breakfast... But very good place by the lake

My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation. Glyn Davies

It’s a nice cozy hotel. People are friendly. I believe the bathroom is newly renovated. Location wise is close to the Lake.

Difficult to find the hotel, especially at night time, as it is inside a narrow side street close to a cross junction and there is no obvious sign at the entrance of the street. But once you are inside the hotel area, the ambience is adorable. Room is clean and service is good. It is conveniently within 10 minutes walking distance to the city centre and ferry piers.

I have traveled almost all over Europe, and this is the first time I have such a bad experience. The front desk and the waiters are very discriminatory against Chinese people. The room and breakfast counter are the worst and the corner, and they find all kinds of reasons to refuse to communicate (I also met several tourists from Shanghai when I checked in, and they had the same experience). The room is like an old house from the 1930s, and the breakfast is said to be award-winning (the reason for booking it in the first place), but it turned out to be worse than any other hotel, and the meat was so old that I couldn't chew it. The most annoying thing is that they didn't take out the garbage even if we stayed there, there were bugs on the floor, and the room was not cleaned at all! ! The staff used all kinds of discriminatory words, and finally we were so angry that we left early after staying for one night. Praise Ctrip, firmly and seriously praise it, a very responsible company, responsible for coordinating with us to the end, and finally covered the expenses.

Guests can choose according to their tastes. Because it is freshly made, you have to wait for some time. Of course, you can eat bread slices, fruit cereals, etc. during this time. These are all self-service. The freshly made breakfast is better and fresher than the self-service one. It is worthy of being an award-winning breakfast and is worth recommending!

The three-person room is enough for a hotel in Hubei. Although the facilities are a little older, they are not bad. The service is attentive.
