Just a heads-up: no smoking, or your deposit will be withheld if there's a smoke smell. I recommend paying the deposit in cash, as you'll get it back in cash, which is much quicker. Overall, it was a good experience.

The room was great and had a lovely ambiance, but it's been two months and Trip.com still hasn't refunded my prepayment.

This is a really beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, about a 5-minute drive from the lake. The facilities are complete and well-equipped. It's very clean and tidy. The environment is top-notch, elegant and attractive. The service attitude is great. The hotel restaurant is super delicious. Friends visiting the lake district shouldn't miss this hotel.

Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a room with a balcony. There was a welcome letter, and the toiletries were all local – The Bath House. The hotel has a secluded location and is beautifully decorated both inside and out. You can pre-book dinner at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the staff were very welcoming.

The hotel was very elegantly decorated and offered excellent service. Breakfast was prepared on-site and ordered from a menu. We stayed in a view room overlooking Lake Windermere.

The room was clean and quiet. I've been here many times; it's very comfortable during the off-season. Breakfast is included, and you can charge your electric scooter for free, but there are only three charging stations, so it's first-come, first-served. The bar's cocktails are so-so. There's a pond on the hill where you can ask the front desk for duck food to feed the ducks, and there's also a viewing platform overlooking the lake area.

The lake view was absolutely beautiful, and the stay was very comfortable. The hotel itself boasts stunning scenery. The environment was superb.

I stayed in a fill suite, which had a large, comfortable, and private outdoor hot tub. The hotel had beautiful views and excellent service, but the housekeeping wasn't very thorough, and they kept cleaning even though they knew someone was sleeping in the room.
