We had a lovely one night stay in the Seahorse 2 bedroom villa. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids, ages 6 and 8). We loved being able to walk right out to the beach. The kids played for hours in the sand and the calm waters. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was good. The grounds are so well maintained and incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It’s only 5 minutes outside the town of Eden where there is the Killer Whale Museum, which we found fascinating. There are also several shops and cafes in town too. I would highly recommend a stay here!

The facilities are complete, including refrigerators, pots, cutlery, and barbecue grills. The location is excellent, one minute's walk from the seaside.

I don’t know if she didn’t like people on motorcycles !! We asked for a room ,Tuesday night . She gave us prices showed us one room which was a small loft $238… was not a room we liked .. only other rooms she had were $375 ++ so we left a little disappointed ! We didn’t feel she wanted our business.. looked online they had villas” actually caravan park cabins” quite nice available for $249 that she failed to mention… so we got one of those .. then afterwards I found the lovely rooms she had mentioned for $309 on booking. com was so disappointed as that is a really good price & we would have booked it 🙁 Had been recommended here from my sister , she said food was great so I’m hoping that will make up for service so far ….

We recently had lunch at the Seahorse Inn Eden. The food was average, and the drinks were expensive. A schooner of Stone and Wood plus a glas of White wine $28.70. We will not be going back any time soon. They need to review their pricing if they wish for repeat business. The setting is beautiful. We just do not need to be ripped off for a drink.

Expensive and small fish and chips. The chicken and the holandaise sauce were also more than average for the price we paid. Sorry we expected better meals. It didn't worth to eat there. Have a dink, enjoy the view and book somewhere else to eat :)

We love the location and the staff were wonderful. Due to being booked out for a wedding when we stayed we could not get the room we would have liked but the room we were allocted was still fine and we were lucky there was one left. Continental breakfast in our room was a lovely touch.

What a lovely place. I took my sister for her 82 birthday. We stayed in a 2 bed villa. It was clean and cosy with great amenities. The restaurant has good choices! The staff were polite and efficient. The only complaint was my oysters had some dried ol salad leaves under the shells!!! That disappointed me as everything else was perfect.

We stayed in one of the villas adjacent to the hotel which was very clean generally with good facilities but did not have a room safe. The outside dining area at the hotel is very large and well positioned and we had a very enjoyable meal there. However we were told that breakfast would not be provided as we were staying in the villas which did not seem very customer friendly as the nearest town Eden! The only option were takeaway baps and muffins - would have been nice to enjoy a breakfast looking out at the wonderful view.

The Seahorse inn has to be one of the best locations on the NSW south coast to enjoy great food and drinks and good times amongst breathtaking scenery. The service was excellent, a special mention to Holly for her outstanding work! We all look forward to next visiting the Seahorse Inn Hotel and recommend it to all

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Seahorse Inn. Gorgeous accommodation and a stunning location right on the beach. The friendly and welcoming staff made me feel at home immediately. I loved the cocktails, complimentary breakfast and art deco stylings. Perfect for getting away from it all. I was sad to leave!

The villas were great and very luxurious. The restaurant was very disappointing. The fish and chicken was oily but the salad was the worst. It looked like it was prepared two days before :( Not worth the money.

The Seahorse Inn is on a wonderful location and our bedroom was attractive with a good bathroom. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was good. Here’s some suggestions aimed at raising it from average to excellent: 1. Serve breakfast in the restaurant not in the bedroom. Our bedroom was small and to eat breakfast we moved the balcony table and chairs inside (it was too cold to sit outside). 2. Install fireplaces (even fake ones!) in the upstairs ‘snug’ and in the fireplaces between the bar and shop. 3. Add some seating to the bar area - it’s sparsely furnished with barstools and a few tables and chairs. Could easily be a attractive English style pub area with a few more seats and heating! 3. Add some cushions to the chairs in the public areas. Nice looking chairs but not cosy! 4. Get rid of the shop and turn it into a breakfast room. 5. Put a heat lock / nice glass doors between the front door and the lobby and heat the lobby. It’s cold and sterile looking. 6. Whose idea was it to block the view from the ground floor to Twofold Bay with he wedding venue infrastructure? Would have been better to run this out the side of the Inn towards/onto the tennis courts. 7. Get some appropriate (coastal-scenic-indigenous) artwork for all the public areas. Move the photos of the previous owners to one location, possibly with more photos of the inn and its history? 8. Improve the signage in the restaurant. Current signage looks cheap and like a cafeteria and the food is better than that.
