A beautiful hotel! The duvet was so soft and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent too. Plus, it's very close to the shopping mall. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

Haha, this hotel definitely requires a bit of an adventurous spirit to stay at! It was built in 1926, so it's celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. In the lobby restaurant, there's a very old manual plug-in switchboard. The hotel's past life probably wasn't as a hotel; it gives off more of a government archives vibe 😂. The room facilities are a bit dated, especially the carpet, but there's a certain echo of the 1950s. The bathroom is quite small, and the shower area, in particular, seems like it would be a squeeze for anyone a bit larger. Canberra gets really cold, so it was a thoughtful touch that the hotel provided extra blankets. Overall, I think you need to have a bit of a nostalgic appreciation to truly enjoy this kind of hotel. The service, however, was quite good.

The large bed was quite comfortable. The location is convenient for families, close to the city center, about a 10-minute walk. Breakfast was a bit crowded, and the service was average. There's an extra charge for parking!

The room was spacious enough, breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. The facilities were also decent. This was the best value-for-money hotel during our trip to Australia. Highly recommended!
