Just back from a wonderful 10 days. Highly recommend this hotel. Very welcoming, clean and helpful staff. Every staff member we dealt with was polite. Breakfast, was bountiful and fresh. Room was large, comfortable and cleaned everyday. Pool area was very busy, but we expected that. Staff did the best to accommodate. Shame, building work was going on next door! It was VERY loud. We never ate evening meal in the restaurant. Amazing location. Lots of restaurants, shops, bars on the doorstep.

15 mins to the historic centre but the hotel, as for most of Braga outside the old town, in a commercial and tired area. Perfectly pleasant walk to the historical core of the city that is worth exploring, we used the free walking tour which was great. We took one of the rooms with a/con which was clean and cool with a balcony facing traffic. Breakfast for 12 euros was OK but the big surprise were the bars. On the 1st October when we stayed the bar on the 8th next to the pool was shut, I am guessing because 'bathing season' was over and the remaining bar on the 1st was very quiet, lacking atmosphere and would not serve a glass of wine to me only bottles!!! Do not come here for any ambience or evening relaxation but fine as a bed for the night.

Exceptional hotel! All at the maximum: room cleaning, staff friendly, breakfast rich with fresh and well-assorted products. A good or luck have chosen this hotel for a quick visit to Braga since the hotel itself is located in the monument to visit (bom Jesus do monte) and very close to another point of interest (basilica de Sameiro) The hotel is an old and safe hotel would be a good repas, but it is clean, beautiful and very good location. Reasons for oversight to give you a very good assessment.

The hotel does not have a lobby, the space is cramped, the interior and furniture are slightly cheaper, and the price is not the same as the four stars. Fortunately, the location of the hotel is very good, only five minutes walk from the old city. In addition, the booking information says that the hotel can provide parking spaces for guests, which is just needed for self-driving guests. When we arrived near the hotel, we found that the entire street, including the hotel's private parking lot, was blocked. It turned out to be a parade of Easter. It was impossible to stop and drag the baggage to a hotel 100 meters away. We had to park temporarily, very hard to push the luggage to sign in, ready to find the far away parking lot immediately after the formalities, sorry that the traffic police aunt has been placarding. The front desk of the hotel was not willing to help explain to the police, nor was it willing to pay for the entire parking lot, showing a way of not accepting responsibility. Knowing that the guest's parking space will be cancelled during the festival, without prior notice to the customer, it is convenient for us to make other arrangements. When things happen, they have a ”nothing to do with me” posture, despise it! In addition, the breakfast at this hotel is also very general.

Good space, cool, good care, however, they didn't want to borrow us two collars! Yes, they couldn't borrow us! I seemed to have a work in the room above, pq we listened to a burning noise! And we had the impression of having a party in the room next door, with music and we talking very loudly. What was resolved as soon as we talked the reception. But the fact that we didn't lend two collars left a lot to desire! We rethink once again!

Ibis a 10 minutos andando del centro. Habitación amplia para ser un Ibis. Tiene como 2 ambientes, pero solo en uno hay un solo enchufe. El baño es pequeño. Sin secador. Los recepcionistas bastantes antipáticos y no hablan español. Cerca puedes aparcar, pero hay gorrillas que te piden 5€. Yo no dejaría el coche allí, por lo que lo dejamos en un parking público a 500m con el que tiene acuerdo el hotel y cobran 10€ el día. El desayuno vale 6,5€ por persona. No merece la pena, es el peor desayuno que he visto. Solo pan, unos mini croissant, café, yogur y poco más. Muy escaso para lo que vale.
