Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills

I have become very disenchanted with Comfort Inns over the last few years. It was refreshing to stay at one that was clean and had an attentive and helpful staff. Very pleasant stay.

Check in was easy even for 3rd party. We arrived early but the staff was accommodating and looked to see if our room was available and it was so we were able to check in early and that was very appreciated. Getting around the hotel was easy and had a great layout. Even better it was 2 blocks from the 76 road that was a hot theater district of things to do and lots to find to eat. We were headed to a show so the hotel location to the venue was easy to find. When we returned, there was ice water to greet you and the pool and hot tub are still open later into the night and for older people we greatly appt the “adult time” once kids are getting settled into their rooms. Our AC unit did strut to keep the humidity reduced in the night for comfort but it was not a deal breaker and when getting up and getting ready again it seemed to ramp up to meet my cooler needs. We did go down to breakfast for a quick bite and some coffee and the host was tending to breakfast and the dining was a busy area. They were also very helpful with information for things to do, how to get there and any inquiries it seemed. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

We stayed in a king room with jetted tub. It was in the basement and stank of mildew. The room was run down. cramped and smelly and the bed was so uncomfortable. The barely staffed front desk advised me to use the dehumidifier in the room. Well. There wasn't one. They did bring one to the room and it wasn't up to the task. It was slightly larger than a can opener and needed to be a lot more powerful to be of any use. As for the breakfast it was as bare bones and generic as possible. I had never stayed at a Comfort Inn before. This particular location is supposed to be the very best the chain has to offer. Platinum Award winner and all that. I will avoid it in future. If this is the very best Comfort Inn, and it is this smelly and run down, then I don't want to bother with it at all.

Amazing staff! I don’t think I’ve ever met a nicer hotel staff. Check-in lady is top notch!! Great hotel, pricing, and room.

Breakfast buffet offered good options for hot meal (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy) and continental items. Staff was quick to restock buffet and wipe tables clean as guests flowed in and out of eating area. Housekeeping offers flexible options at no extra charge, including full service or just hanging a tag on the door requesting specific items.

Rooms were clean. Pool is open to midnight which is nice. Pool area needs better maintenance but is in working order.

Very clean. Friendly staff. My daughter loved the pool and hot tub. I'm not a breakfast eater, but my husband and daughter are picky and they had no complaints about it. Good location down the road from the aquarium. Would stay here again.

Nice room, nice staff, good breakfast, great hot tub! The only thing that we didn't like was the treadmill was broken.
