Super 8 by Wyndham Branson / Shepherd of the Hills Exwy

The location is good. I am not a fan of staying on the strip, the traffic is to much. Decent place for the price. I would not plan on eating the hot breakfast, it was terrible. Gravy was slightly flavored water. Kids enjoyed the pool, but they had no towels in the tote, even though worker said they were there. I was overall happy with place for the price I paid.

The room was clean. Needs updating. It seemed that there was a problem with the door closing but we tried to work on it and felt it was safe to stay. Vinyl floor covering on floor. Some mismatched things. Nothing was specifically wrong. It was just not a comfortable place to stay. No elevator. We had second floor room. It was inexpensive. The outside and around hotel was very neat and clean but when going in the room it was let down. I guess you get what you pay for.

Room was clean, we didn’t use the pool, but saw others using it and it seemed okay, fair breakfast, could use a waffle iron and fresh fruit like bananas and apples

I usually have allergies problems staying in hotels due to heavy bleach smells on sheets and/or cleaning product smells, or musty smells. I didn't have any problems in this hotel room. Everything was clean, but no smells that stirred up allergies. It was a quiet stay and slept well. Kind people and it was close to Sight and Sound theatre (less than 2 miles).

The pillowcases/sheets had stains, there was clumps of hair on/in the bath tub, and some weird sticky substance on one of the chairs. It was fine bc we brought our own pillows and blankets, but the cleanliness was the only issue. Staff was great, room was fine other than that. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again.

Clean and quiet. Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast and wished there would have been a full size hair dryer. It is difficult to dry your hair with a mini dryer that is attached to the wall.

At arrival, the front desk was asking all the same questions I filled out in the online check-in. He had no idea about it. I asked why I even filled it out in the first place. Just kind of annoying. The room seemed clean but smelled musty. When my son spilled water on the floor and I wiped it up the napkin was black. It wasn’t until the next morning during a shower that I noticed all the mildew and/or mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. I did not go to breakfast, but my husband said it was awful. We drove elsewhere to eat. Later on, my daughter had a bunch of bites on her which I assume are bed bug bites. I had a couple on myself, as well. I would not recommend staying here.

The staff was super nice and I had a clean room. The bed was not as comfortable as I like, but it was ok. The breakfast was hot; however, the biscuits were small and kind of hard, and the eggs were watery. I stayed four nights and ate the hot breakfast two of the mornings during my stay. It wasn’t what I had expected, but that’s just me.
