upreme Hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Every detail from the room to the warmth of the staff reflected exceptional hospitality. The sea view was breathtaking, the facilities were spotless, and the breakfast spread offered a perfect balance of local and international choices and tested absolutely amazing. What made my stay stand out most was the professionalism and friendliness of the team. They were always ready to help, whether with local recommendations or arranging small touches that made me feel valued as a guest. I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone visiting Durrës, whether for leisure or business. it’s the ideal blend of comfort, quality, and authentic Albanian hospitality. The room is very neat and cool, the breakfast is commendable, and the location is strategic, but I was shocked when I was told I could not have a guest in my room even after paying for 2 persons when I booked. I was never informed about this and felt embarrassed when the receptionist was telling me this right in front of my guest, and almost turned my plea down, and it took close to 15 minutes before she accepted as she was struggling to understand my English. If adults can't be with visitors in privacy in a hotel, where do you expect them to stay with their visitor after paying two persons price? It was so embarrassing that I had to move elsewhere the next day.

I booked a Deluxe Double Room and liked the size as well as the amenities. At first the receptionist said to me that Trip.com informed them a Triple Bed Room so I got three beds when I went in the room. Later on, a service lady quickly converted them to a king bed with a sofa. Breakfast is English-style buffet, nothing neither special nor bad. In general, I enjoyed staying in Mondial Hotel.

Location-wise was really inconvenient if you do not have a car. It is located on an extremely busy highway, and it is a trek along the roadside to get to the bus depot or the bus stop. It is a 5min walk from the bus depot that has airport shuttles, which would take you about 30-45 minutes either way. It takes around 40 minutes to get into the city from the bus stop. The breakfast really did not meet standards for a Mercure hotel; the variety was extremely limited, and the food didn't seem very fresh either. I wouldn't bother with paying the extra for breakfast. The room was clean and seemed new from the smell, and it was very decent. The gym was quite unhygienic. I had the room to myself, but there were used towels and cups everywhere, and the ventilation wasn't great.

Stopped for one night, the location is convenient, close to the bus station. The room is not big, there is a tea and tea. Big shopping center, 5 minutes by taxi, 20 walk. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but we arrived late and dinner didn't manage, the hostess is very social.

The room was okay and everything but they wouldnt let us use the AC. I turned it on at night cuz my kids sleep better when its cooler, and they came up the stairs and shut the power off to our room. We needed our phones charged for the next day as we had big plans the next morning and we woke up to them dead. Also, on top of no power and AC or wifi, they yelled at us for leaving 2 shopping bags of garbage. Saying she just rents the rooms, shes not a maid. I was unaware that there was public dumpsters on the streets- I thought they were business owned like in the states where if you put trash in it you get fined. She also got mad that I stripped the beds before we left and I think was saying she had someone coming in an hour and now she will have to make them wait. So the whole experience was of that of staying at someones house when they dont want you there. Also I paid a $10 deposit and they didnt return it.

Very lovely location and super clean. There is an eating arena downstairs where breakfast is served. The host was very kind. We initially did not like our drink and he gave us another flavor free of charge. Highly recommend the location

There are a lot of minuses, let's start with the main ones. If you are a blonde, please wear a cap if you go to the pool. I have an ash blonde that I have been trying to achieve for many years, but after their pool my hair turned green. I don't know what they add to the pool! At the time of check-in, when paying in $ cash, they told me that we accept either local currency or €. I decided to pay by card, but the hotel took an extra $30, I didn't notice right away, but as soon as I noticed, I wrote to technical support. When technical support contacted the hotel, the hotel denied that they took an extra $30 from me. Despite the fact that I have a receipt for payment for $30 more and a bank statement. They denied that they took $30 from me, despite the fact that I have all the evidence. When I personally went to the reception to sort it out, they told me that it wasn't them who took $30, but they should have taken $30 because they were converting from dollars to euros from euros to their local currency and this conversion would cost $30. But supposedly the bank was billing me this amount, not the hotel itself, although the bill itself was billed on behalf of the hotel. I didn't like that at all. There were no slippers in the rooms, by the way, they didn't deny that they didn't have slippers. Very strange behavior from the staff. Their breakfasts only last 2 hours and cost €10, but for some reason the breakfast is extremely meager, it's easier to have breakfast for the same amount in a nearby cafe.
