A wonderful resort for a family holiday over Easter. Everything was great, from the convenient ski room and shuttle bus into town, the spacious rooms, excellent buffet breakfast and dinner and the evening entertainment. Nice pool and spa. Special mention for the amazing mini club! Compliments to Jessica and her team, our children had so much fun and cried when we had to leave. I would highly recommend this resort for a family ski holiday :)

Terrible service, waiters was simply afraid to come and serve us and the staff in general didten understand us at all, no one here knows English. When we asked for wine because we where a big group, the gave us one bottle and then switched the winecard out for a card with double the price on the same bottles.

We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. We had an inter connecting, 4 star family room that was spacious, quiet, very clean, with extremely comfy beds. The buffet breakfast and dinner was great, with plenty of choice to cater for everybody’s needs. Great selection of Salads, fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, pasta and pizza station and great desserts. A daily après ski, snack buffet was served every day too. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Excellent shuttle service to and from the hotel to the ski lifts and village. Fabulous bar/lounge area, pool and spa. Also a plus being able to purchase ski passes, book lessons and sort out ski rental at the hotel (with a slight surcharge), avoiding queues and hassle. Slight downside was the Wifi, if you need this, virtually non existant. Also, if you enjoy drinking wine with your meal, there is a very limited and expensive choice on the menu and no option to have by the glass, only by the bottle. The heating system in the boot/ski lockers either did not work or was never switched on, so ski wear cold and still damp the next morning.

Like any larger hotel there is a combination of good and not so good. Overall however I'm left with a positive enough impression. Having read previous reviews I was a little concerned about being too hot but this wasn't a problem. Transfers to the lift and town were reliable and the drivers very helpful. Most staff were happy and pleasant. A special mention to the cleaning staff, all of whom were very warm and cheerful and the room cleanliness was excellent. We enjoyed the pool facilities (swim hats not compulsory but would recommend bringing your own towels from the room unless you want to spend €5 pp). Buffet breakfast was plentiful with an excellent selection. Horror of horrors in Italy however: the coffee was instant which given it came from a large machine, you wouldn't expect. No opportunity to order fresh coffee, though. Dinner was equally good although as we travelled through Crystal, we seemed to be relegated to the back room away from the main buffet. Everywhere we went we were asked if we were Crystal travellers which would equate to meaning (almost) social lepers (!). Being to pay for towels, etc at the spa, relegated to separate rooms when eating and with fewer 'extras'. This rather chafed, come the second day. We received wine with dinner every night (1 while bottle per table) but this will not be provided next season, we overheard. Cervinia is beautiful, friendly, well serviced and fabulous for serious snow chasers and families with a smattering of lively places for apres. Definitely visit the resort but research your hotel well.

High quality hotel with great facilities (amazing pool). Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Buffet dinner provided with half board offered plenty of choice each evening and the desserts were AMAZING! Drawbacks were: 1) the long walk from our room in the satellite building to dinner/ reception 2) Constant door slamming and loud conversations in the hallway that disturbed us during the night 3) Shower went cold after 6pm, clearly hot water couldn't keep up with demand.

This is a 5 star hotel with 3 star service. Big, very noisy, super impersonal and very few engaged and attentive staff 😌 Sorry that’s not 100% true, Angelo does the most incredible cappuccino’s with these wonderful picture’s on. And the staff in the ski and boots shop are super! Really good but prob not part of the hotel. This is our second trip but we won’t be back. It’s overpriced, the dining area is utterly chaotic, and all the staff look fed up and overworked. Very few smiling faces or staff happy to help. There is tonnes of food and it’s ok, nothing special. For €45 euros a head for dinner it’s waaaay overpriced. If you want to eat volumes of food it’s there, so you could argue it’s not expensive but how many teenagers and even adults eat plates and plates of food? We certainly don’t. Often our kids had a bowl of pasta and so really not worth it I was utterly fed up to realise that no one had communicated there was room service as no menu in the room, so we could have ordered a plate or pasta to the room. With a €15 euros surcharge I might add. When I mentioned this to the manger, she said they were saving paper even though there is paper next to the bed with the pillow menu on it !! It cost us £100’s of Euros as going into town after a days skiing is not always practical. There is a free shuttle going down (super busy in the am.Sometimes a 15 min wait) and on the way back in the evening it’s 5 euros a head !! Just annoying .. Rooms are very small but clean and really modern. You couldn’t fit more in if you tried. Swimming pool is beautiful but also loads of extra prices. Bring your own caps etc or extra charges. Oh and don’t think you could get help with your cases before 8am as no staff on 🤦‍♀️ The afternoon tea is massive, but full of stuff you don’t really want to eat,and we are not that fussy! Several unappetising cakes and tonnes of white bread ( oh and green and yellow) sandwiches, none of which look appealing. How hard is it to do an afternoon tea? Fresh bread, jams and nice cakes? None of the 5 of us liked it .. just not 😌

Sadly our least enjoyable family ski holiday to date. Stayed in a spacious 4 star room but standard was more like 3 star. Broken curtain rail, scruffy dented cupboards with holes in them, dirty dusty floor on check-in. Broken phone with exposed wires hanging out of the wall, maintenance not able to fix it, heated bathroom towel rail never worked, safe battery worn out and had to be fixed, no shower gel provided on check in, only flimsy paper cups for coffee with kettle, no QR code or manual given to us for hotel services until we asked. As others have said boiling hot rooms so windows open 24/7. Smoke from staff smoking below our room and constant noise from them chatting below. Michael Buble Christmas album was played on a loop most days from 12pm until 11pm! Ski hire guys in Rossignol concession were really lovely and helpful - our favourite in the hotel. As others have said, heating in ski lockers for 4 star guests didn’t work. A temporarily broken sign up but maintenance staff said they have been broken since they took it over from Club Med and still waiting to be fixed. Staff were all polite but we got bored of constantly being asked to show our wristbands and or told to pay €20 for four of us all to use pool towels. €20 for four of us to have pool slippers, €20 to all book our ski passes via hotel etc etc…… not exactly a four star experience! We never used the pool as a result. We really didn’t want to pay an extra €600 for the New Year’s Eve buffet and wanted to go out instead but it could not be canceled . It was also not explained clearly that this only covered the usual buffet set up and two free glasses of Prosecco. We had been led to believe from an earlier but confusing notice posted by the hotel that there were oysters and champagne but when we went to the room for this to be served we were turned away and told this was only for 5 star guests who had paid a supplement! We had also not been told upon booking that no drinks were included during our stay All alcohol and soft drinks but even €2.50 for each bottle of filtered tap water at dinner or €5 bottle of mineral water, which added up during our stay. The hotel, as other guests have noticed, also had a drainage problem and smelled of sewage on the four star side of the hotel in the main corridor and along first floor rooms. They also were repainting the corridor during what must be the busiest week of the year! Like others, we also found the music during the daily hotel tea very loud and couldn’t really hang out and chat. Pros The buffet food was generally quite good and chefs and waiters all helpful. The ski slope / town shuttle service is good. There is a handy ski carpet next to the hotel which was open most but not all days. Staff are polite and friendly. The main part of the hotel (the bar area) is smart and had money spent on it and definitely feels more like a 4 star level. To their credit, after relaying our issues with the room / the buffet etc and the

Enjoyed our stay here. We were four star and to wear a stupid bracelet to identify us !! Room was good - not too hot. Heating only on in morning and from 5pm to 9.30pm each day. Could have better storage but had enough shelves for things. Good choice of food and you actually got a half bottle of wine per person each night. Waiters were superb. Our gripe was the rubbish WiFi in our room. Despite asking a few times they never fixed it. And logging in to WiFi each time is completely unnecessary. Entertainment was good. They have an excellent singer and a 40 minute show each night including a magician. Shuttle buses ran regularly and rarely had to wait. Boot room good but driers still not working. Drinks at bar pricey but London levels. No cash - card only. Beware they reserve a 700 euro deposit on your credit card for drinks and extras - no way of avoiding it !

Pros. Very efficient check in. Arrived at 1 and were escorted straight to room. Great spacious room - one adult and two teens and we had a separate double bedroom and twin beds. Beautiful view of mountain. Lounge bar area and apres ski buffet fabulous!! Live music, cocktails, really friendly staff. Stunning pool ! Great minibus shuttle up and down - rarely needed to wait more than five mins. Cons. Rooms very warm/stuffy. Need to sleep with window open which can be noisy. There is obviously a drain issue. Room and corridor intermittently smelt very unpleasant. Had to ask for toilet paper only one spare roll for a room of three. Coffee !! It is Italy - we need good coffee at breakfast. Water at dinner very limited.
