The Golden Lion Inn

The Golden Lion is ideally situated on the High Street with its own carpark at the rear with each space designated by the room name you're staying in. The staff, rooms and breakfast are excellent and the bar has a great choice of real ales. Other pubs and restaurants are nearby as are shops which are a mix of high street names and individual ones

The Golden Lion was absolutely wonderful and we will stay here again the next time I come to Bridgnorth to visit my musician friends. The room was surprisingly large and bathroom up to date for the historical age of the building. It was very relaxed, they served a lovely traditional UK breakfast and accommodated my gluten free needs as well as flexibility on our check in time due to a rehearsal I had to get to. The town of Bridgnorth is beautiful and the Golden Lion was right in the heart of high town with easy access and short walks to great restaurants, pubs, etc.

Great location in a lovely town. Friendly staff, nice clean spacious rooms and a top class, freshly cooked breakfast. Couldn’t be better and great value.

Good breakfast menu and free parking (in the middle of Bridgnorth!) Great evening pub atmosphere - a CAMRA recommended pub with a good selection of beers on tap. A Holden's brewery owned pub. Bedroom was ok with good tea/coffee making facilities

First of all the carpark is behind the accommodation, to get to it you have to drive up a lane which is a few doors away, you then come to very narrow one way system, we arrived in near darkness and found to quite tricky to find our way in and out, once parked no issue at all as you have your own parking space with your room name. The room itself is up a narrow staircase so no good for anyone with mobility issues. All staff were very welcoming and the room itself was lovely. We stayed in the button suite designed by Jay Blades, loved the clothes hanger. It is an old building so few creaks here and there. Breakfast is preordered night before (bring a pen)…very tasty sausages. Would I stay here again?…definitely YES! Thank you for a lovely stay x

Lovely well priced B&B with friendly service. Having guaranteed parking and breakfast included were great touches

Nice breakfast with a varied menu. Allocated parking very useful so no one else could use your space. Problem with light in bathroom which fell off and bulb broke leaving glass in the sink. Managed to carefully clear it up. Shower had a small shelf that was wobbly and items fell off. Despite this would stay again and would definitely recommend.
