The Brockton

This is not a hotel, it is a 1 star guesthouse. With normal english mold smell with same price! Location is good! But way overpriced! Not return!

Very friendly couple lovely b&b rooms spotless breakfast spot on only about 5 or 10 min walk in to town

The couple who own this great family run hotel. Are professional, welcoming, friendly and very attentive to their guests needs. The hotel is ideally located, is very clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast......well that is 100% the best breakfast I have ever had.

Perfect location, a bit dated though, we had a ground floor twin room right next to where the owners live, we could hear every movement from child gate closing to people moving around , the owner seemed nice, didn't really speak to him much as we was out and about, our room was very small with a small case and a walking aid it was a bit cramped, on suite tiny when you used the toilet I kept knocking the toilet roll off, and we had a leak around the toilet. Breakfast was OK described as a hearty breakfast 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg half a tomato a few mushrooms and beans plenty of toast and cereal coffee was a tad cold but the tea was hot.

Our stays at the Brockton are always great. The breakfast is lovely, sets you up for the day. Nothing is too much trouble for Phil or his wife. Would highly recommend you stay 😊

Very outdated and could do with a good clean. No shower in the room, just a bath. Tea and coffee provided in room, and beds comfortable. Bathroom poor - no shower, and fixtures out of the 70s. People expect more than these basic amenities. Please modernise (oh, and clean your TV remote - was scared of catching something from that one)
