DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

Fantastic stay – great service, location, and value! We stayed over a weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Check-in: we arrived early at 1pm (official check-in is 3pm) and was pleasantly surprised that our rooms was already ready. The front desk team were warm and welcoming. Service: The staff went above and beyond – they even sent a follow-up SMS to check if our rooms were comfortable and if we needed any assistance. A personal touch that made a real difference. Location: Perfect – just a few steps from Brighton beach. Very convenient for exploring the seafront and town. Room: Clean, comfortable, and with strong, reliable air-conditioning. We didn't have a sea view (opted for a standard room), but it was perfectly fine since we were out most of the day. Wi-Fi: Fast and consistent – no issues at all. Parking: On-site parking available, and the rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast: The buffet spread was superb. A special mention for the dedicated vegan and vegetarian station – great to see such thoughtful options. Overall: Highly recommended for families, couples, solo travellers, or anyone wanting a stress-free stay in Brighton. I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel reception gave me my room key and when I arrived at my room it was still being cleaned. Very tired hotelbut given its age it was excellent. Breakfast was above excellent, especially the egg station. Excellent poached eggs. My room overlooked, rubbish and large fans. Health club, sauna was out of order.

Good location Lovely hotel We had a queen size room which was cozy but big enough Decorated lovely Didn’t seem to hear much noise during the night Downsides -No mini fridge in room -Only one towel hook in bathroom for wet towels -Only seemed to be shared changing areas for swimming pool -one for males one for females- I feel a couple of private changing rooms could be added for privacy

The best hotel High recommend to everyone My daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna, steam room. Omg it's amazing and never forget!!!! We already have been here and this is our next time and definitely if we will go to Brighton then we will stay in this amazing hotel. Staff and service 10/10

Great location, clean, fresh and modern hotel. Could benefit from more soundproof windows at the front and clearer directions to the car park, we ended up parking at another car park joint to ikea which was ok, but would have preferred to stay at the hotel car park for the discount and ease of access.  Breakfast options were good, pancakes were a bit slow in coming out of the machine, but appreciate the appliance, but I do not think the line behind me appreciated the wait.  Pool looked decent although a bit small in size.

The room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants. The spa area was a bit disappointing, it’s more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so don’t expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great restaurants in Brighton so I cannot comment on the brekkie. We attended the NYE dinner/dance at the hotel and it was brilliant! Great entertainment, lovely food - a fabulous time had by all and a lovely way to see in 2026! Brighton in general is a lovely place to visit, lots of bars, restaurants and shops - especially the Lanes which is full of small independents which are just fab! There’s lots to do and see! We took a short walk from the hotel to the i360 tower. A great way to see Brighton from the sky and we managed to catch it at sunset - so magical! I would definitely recommend!
