The staff were great but we did not get the room we paid for , the floor boards are so creaky and all hotel doors slam , also to be woken up for a 10 mins fire drill was not the best

Excellent location and beautiful sea view but big disappointment with a room which needs renovation badly from ceiling to floor. No options for a baby pram at the entrance as well, only normal stairs.

Nice old fashioned hotel with great staff and a great atmosphere

Although the room was lovely the rest of the hotel needs to be updated- lots of damp in places.  Breakfast was a disappointment as advertised hash browns (gluten free on request) but when I requested them they didn’t have any, the rest of the cooked breakfast looked overdone and dry.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff...very good food and helpful chatty bar lady. Only issue was the lack of a car park that was advertised with the hotel. Great fitness room! Very much enjoyed our stay. Thankyou.

Positives - on the beach front with lovely views, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions. Very nice English breakfast. Staff were polite and efficient. Lobby areas neat and tidy. Good lunch food. Negatives. Upstairs hallways and bedrooms are in very poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty sofas, threadbare carpets, scratched paintwork and faded curtains. Private Parking advertised but still costs £25 a night. Limited amenities.
