Nice sunset views from the balcony! The room was comfortable but a bit dated. The only notable issue was a badly squeaking shower door. Check-in/out was fast and easy.

Hotel is situated in a great location amongst shops, restaurants and few minutes walk to the beach and star casino. Receive a free upgrade to an ocean view room upon arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Me and my wife have a nice honeymoon holiday in Sofitel hotel.
Wonderful room,beautiful view and nice staffs.
It is an excellent experience in Gold Coast!

Check in was pleasant. Offered a glass of champagne while waiting to be checked in and front desk was accommodating. Room was clean and spacious with a little balcony which had a nice view of the beach. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Only let down was the lifts. Only basing it on my experience but it seemed like you had to wait a while and sometimes when a lift did stop it was packed so you had to wait for the next one hoping that would have enough room. But other than that I would stay again as everything you needed was either at the hotel or all around you.

The location is great! As soon as we checked in, they welcomed us with two glasses of champagne — such a nice touch and really delicious 😋. The only downside is that check-in is a bit late at 3 PM, which made it a bit tricky to plan our time beforehand. But overall, everything else was lovely!

Everything was amazing except one annoying security guard who keeps staring at us as if we did crime ! God knows? And when we were about to catch elevator he asked loudly if we have booking in this hotel? I mean seriously why would we come to Sofitel if we have no booking here ? In fact we showed him our card before anyway.
