This was a three night ‘escape’ to explore a completely new area. Broadstairs is a lovely small old fashioned resort with bracing walks, friendly people, some lovely eateries and many places to sit and watch the world go by. Artfuls was a perfect base. Small and friendly, it is ideally located near the seafront, promenade and town centre. The staff were all absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and good places to eat. Our room was quirky but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent and unhurried. There was easy parking nearby. I readily recommend Artfuls to any couples wishing to enjoy a relaxed break in a lovely place. I would

We had a lovely overnight stay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We were offered help carrying any bags up the stairs which was a nice touch. We stayed in the oriental room and it more than lived up to expectations. The tea tray was very well stocked, there was even a couple of sachets of hot chocolate. If you stay here definitely get breakfast. My partner had the full English and I had the vegetarian option. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels/B&Bs over the years and this was by far the best breakfast we have ever had. Would we stay again? Definitely, without a doubt. If you're looking to stay in Broadstairs and want to be made to feel like you're in a home from home, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely, charming guesthouse. Really friendly staff and they have committed to quality in every sense, making for a very luxurious stay but great value! We stayed in the Victorian suite and loved the stand alone bath tub in particular.

A small hotel in a good location , only 100 yards from the beach and the town. Nicely decorated in period style and very clean overall. Probably a 10/10 only the bathroom, which did have a bath, needed a little updating. Overall highly recommended. Parking is free a 5 minutes walk away in West Esplanade

Small establishment with themed rooms, just a few meters away from the beach, pubs and restaurants. Great in room amenities with everything you night for a quick stopover.

Me and my partner stayed here while visiting dreamland. The host was lovely and went above and beyond, the room was clean with a unique decor and the breakfast was lovely. It’s right in the middle of broad stairs and 2 mins away from the beach. perfect little get away.

This is actually regarding. An order. Ordered food online, and it never came. The restaurant accepted the order and we waited a hour for this as it said it was out for delivery. Never contacted us to inform us that they couldn't actually fulfill the order. Then told me in a text message exchange that they would get my review removed, and then informed me how I was rude when there was failings this evening on their behalf. Unfortunate as in the past have never had a problem, and it's unfortunate you chose to text message exchange instead of answering the phone. We waited an hour, it showed us the tracking then said delivered. Also they never apologiesed for there mistake in the text message exchange. Also order number was never asked for which I found strange. This could have been delt with much better, please change the way you speak to others.

Came in today for a coffee and sandwich. Asked if ok to bring a dog in and the male owner nodded at me and walked off. We were ignored by the lady waitressing so we sat down and were then asked to move to a smaller table even though there were only two other people in there! Overheard the waitress saying they were manic. The ambiance was non existent and it seemed we were more of an inconvenience than paying guests! We left without even being acknowledged! Such a shame as the other male owner has always been very friendly (in his other job!!) Won’t be returning. A smile and friendly welcome isn’t difficult!!

Have just had a fantastic little break in Broadstairs, this place is lovely a real gem, small and perfectly quirky. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and very helpful, everything asked/enquired about was met with a smile response. The food was amazing and my husband has discovered his love of cocktails. A big thank you to all the staff for making our time in Broadstairs so enjoyable, we will definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Popped in for breakfast while having a look around Broadstairs and what a good call. Quirky is a good description, not very spacious but very cosy. Excellent coffee and tea and two of the best sausage sandwiches ever ( and I have eaten a lot). High quality freshly cooked and delicious ciabatta. Simple stuff done well, I would like to try more dishes. The team are really nice and friendly. I understand it is quite new so seek them out - they deserve to do well.

Stayed here last Thursday/Friday for 2 nights with my partner as it was her birthday and wanted something not too far from us and low-key and was recommended by family members Great location in the centre of everything but not loud at night time in the room at all, slept like a log! Friendly staff/ owners and very welcoming Highly recommend the breakfast can’t fault it! Stayed in the Victorian themed room which was extremely clean literally couldnt see a speck of dust No parking but wasn’t an issue for us as parking only a 30 second walk away and always had spaces We will definitely be back as we come to broadstairs often and this is by far the best all round place we have stayed, great restaurants and bars round the corner

Stumbled on this place by accident and stayed one night in the Moulin Rouge room. Very quirky. Bed was comfortable. Some slight noise from room above as floors are wooden, so consider having a room on the top floor (Beach or Oriental rooms) if this is an issue, though it wasn’t for us. Bathroom had an old fashioned bath but had shower head. Friendly staff (Ryan who served us coffee and cake in the tea room on the ground floor was excellent). Cooked breakfast was delicious. Would stay again.

LOVED this place! Recommended for breakfast and wow it didn’t disappoint! Cute & quirky table area. Food was delicious, poached eggs perfect and everything so tasty! Special mention to Ryan who works there and served us, so friendly and had us in stitches of laughter! Owner was also so lovely. This will be a firm fave of us now when in Broadstairs!
