Relais & Chateaux Hotel Heritage

We got in late and tired on March 30th to Hotel Heritage for our first trip to Bruges for three nights. The reception took great care of us from the moment we stepped in the door! Our bags were quickly dispersed and we were shown to our rooms which were very elegant! The beds were very comfortable and we had three wonderful nights sleep. I can in all honestly say we had the best breakfast we have had in any of our Europe trips in this hotel! They put together in room dining for us the first morning as we were too tired to look at menus and it was superb! There is no doubt in my mind that their restaurant is a top experience which we will definitely try on our next trip. We were so busy sight seeing that we couldn’t squeeze it in this time. What was amazing about their breakfast was so many things! The cheeses are unique in Belgium, I believe they make them with beer! There was a special dish that consisted of puréed avocado, burrata, sun dried tomato, basaltic, and seasoning that was so flavorful! The eggs scrambled on toast were perfection. Did I mention Belgium Waffles! I will leave a photo! I cannot forget the service! It was top notch! They took care of us with in room dining, appointments in the sauna/steam room, restaurant reservations, information. I was trying to sneak some of our bags down near check out as my wife was still getting ready to leave and they caught me to make sure they could get them for me. In conclusion, I could not recommend this place more for a beautiful boutique top 5 star experience! Location was amazing as well! We were all sad as we drove away…

Hotel Heritage is amazing. Exceptional place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food and drinks at the hotel restaurant are amazing. Great team working here. Everyone was super friendly, courteous and professional. Would recommend.

We stayed 3 nights in the classic room in Feb 2024. The hotel is well situated, only a short walk to historic Bruges . The room and ensuite were very clean, with maid service twice a day. The room had a big window and even a small balcony. We have not been to 5* hotel before, we were a bit worried about possible snobbery etc but we were put at ease by the friendly attentive staff, and we never felt out of place. We were treated so well by the check in, breakfast and dinner service teams. We had the champagne buffet breakfast each day (wide selection of delicious options) and we had exceptional service from the lady who served our drinks and the gentleman who served the food - thank you all very much!

The location is super convenient and safe and quiet. The hotel is very charming and very clean. The stuff are all very kind. Highly recommend!

We wanted to stay in an old world European atmosphere. This beautiful place fit the bill perfectly. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating to the point we were walked to our dinner reservation because we couldn’t find it even though it was right where they said . The room was amazing, the bar area was amazing, we placed chess in front of a fireplace while having champagne. We diffently would recommend this place, the whole city. I know I’ll be back!

I would highly recommend this hotel the staff were amazing, really friendly amazing service, hotel in a perfect location, walking distance of all the amenities you need, close to the centre, quiet, really well maintained, couldn't fault in any way, I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff.

We stayed at Hotel Heritage in Bruges for three nights: 2 nights in a deluxe room and one night in a Junior Suite overlooking theatre because deluxe room unavailable. The location and breakfast were outstanding. The deluxe room was okay: suboptimal shower that was open and very cold. The Junior Suite was terrible: low ceilings so my husband hit his head against the cross beam since the roof sloped near the bed; the toilet and safe didn’t work and lighting was terrible. They didn’t upgrade us as RC 5C members although an upgrade room was available. I would not recommend the Junior Suites. The room was smaller than the deluxe room with lower ceilings and much more expensive. The staff members were pleasant and helpful.

The standout element of this hotel is the service, in particular the staff in the restaurants. Eugene who is a breakfast server deserves a shoutout. His service is exceptional, nothing is too much and he always has a smile and welcoming demeanour. I also loved the quietness of this place, it is a small boutique hotel so it felt like we had privacy and could relax. We had a classic double room, which I must say did feel a little small for us both with our luggage. As a women, I did bring alot of clothes and the wardrobe space was lacking! The rooms could do with a few upgrades, like new TVs for example. Perhaps a smart tv. Also another suggestion is conditioner in the bathroom's. The bathrooms only had 2 in 1 shampoo, which as most women would agree is not ideal. Loved the hotel though and I am a fan of the regency style decor!

Excellent location. Close to the centre - a few minutes walk (although Bruges is tiny and very walkable). Fantastic service all round. Large and cozy room. Reception and other staff helped with everything we needed. Constant and clear communication. We loved it and would easily come back.
