Novotel Brussels Off Grand Place

The hotel is a short walk from the central train station, and it's downhill, which makes it a bit easier with luggage. However, it's a cobblestone path, so it can still be a bit tiring. The room is spacious; I think it might be an accessible room because there are grab bars by the toilet. The shower drain was very slow, and water overflowed into the entire bathroom. The bedding was clean, but the bed was a bit soft. This room actually had two single beds, so four people could comfortably stay here. There's air conditioning, and you can make it quite cold. There's no free bottled water, only tap water, so it's best to buy a large bottle from the Carrefour convenience store next door. Given its proximity to the train station, there are quite a few homeless people around at night, so it's best to avoid going out after dark.

A Novotel hotel very close to Brussels Central Station. The receptionist was super nice and kindly suggested we book breakfast the night before to save money, which we did. Our room faced the street, so there was occasional noise from people talking loudly at night, but it wasn't a big deal and we still slept soundly.

Convenient location, but there's an uphill walk to get there. The lobby has a bar with reasonable prices, but the facilities are a bit dated. The shower stall was tiny and there were hairs on the bedsheets.

The location is fantastic! It's just a short walk from the Central Station, and you're right in the heart of the tourist district. It's a bustling area, and you can easily walk to Brussels' main square and the Manneken Pis. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. As for the facilities, they're decent, especially considering it's an economy chain hotel. The cleanliness was acceptable, and the service was standard and efficient.
