Warwick Brussels - Grand Place Reviews

Best location you can ask for - quiet street, but right next to all the major landmarks, 2 min walk from Brussels train station, hundreds of restaurants within 5-10 min walking distance, 8-10 min walking distance from both Asian and local supermarkets. The room itself is a classic design, but a bit dated. The best was the 2 closets. there’s one next to the bed and one next to the bathroom. The bathtub shower is a disaster as water splashes out everywhere with the glass pane and the air ventilation is nonexistent. Hot showers mean everything will be fogged up and bathroom smells stay for a longer period of time. The gym is decent with a self-checkout snack bar. Weights are a little wonky. The adjustable dumbbell was half broken, only fixed by a very nice guest. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. The housekeeping was not. We called the front desk for a missing floor towel and the housekeeping never delivered it for 4 hours until I went down to complain. We also called for a tissue box since it was finished and It was also never delivered despite calling 4-5 times over the course of 2 days. We called in the morning, afternoon and night. Never delivered. That is the worst housekeeping staff I have ever met in my years of traveling around the world in 4 star hotels. It is either they are lazy as hell or the front desk never followed up on whether the items are delivered or not. That’s the reason why I wrote this detailed review.

This hotel is really close to Grand Place, an excellent location! The accommodation is a bit old but clean and comfortable. The meals were also really good. I've added a picture of the food! I'd love to stay here again if I ever go back to Brussels. ^^

Just minutes walk from centraal station to hotel and landmark. And speciality rooftop bar. Very convenient and see beautiful 360 in Brussels.

Great location and good size room. Clean and good air con on a really hot weekend. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment but the rooftop bar was a big plus, if a bit crowded.

The hotel is a 2-minute walk (180 meters) from Bruxelles-Central station and a 4-minute walk to Grand Place. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a convenience store right downstairs. Highly recommend!

Near Brussel Central Station and Brussel Central tourist spot

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the metro station, just a 2-minute walk to the entrance, and a 5-minute walk to Grand Place. The service was fantastic! We were originally supposed to check in the next day, but when we went the night before to ask if we could check in early the next morning and store our luggage, the front desk attendant was incredibly friendly. She offered to let us complete the check-in process that night and just drop off our bags the next morning, which was totally unexpected and a huge help since we were in a rush the following day. The hotel lobby is spacious and offers complimentary fruit tea. Aside from the rooms being a bit small and the facilities a bit dated, everything else was great.

Very convenient location. Near all central activities within walking distance. Just along the hotel road, got many restaurants for food.

The hotel was nice and has a parking garage (25 euros per night) need to be paid separately. It’s located near the Grand place, the room was nice but the hot water system takes quite long to warm up and is difficult to control. The only problem was that the house keeping didn’t knock on the door to check if there were people inside the room, she just opened our door an hour before our check out time.

This Warwick hotel is approximately 300 meters from the Central Station and about 150 meters from Brussels' Grand Place. It has its own private parking right next to the hotel. There's a rooftop bar with a view, which I peeked at but didn't visit, mainly because it was on the same floor as my room, and from my living room window and even from bed, I had fantastic views of the cathedral and Grand Place, among other sights. We booked the Executive Warwick Suite, which was comfortably spacious for us. Upon entering, there's a restroom, and housekeeping had already prepared the sofa bed. The bathroom featured a double vanity, a bathtub, and a separate shower. The tissues were conveniently placed, the bath mats were neatly arranged, and the toiletries were from the French brand Nuxe. The hotel's amenities were comprehensive, including bottled water, disposable slippers, a refrigerator, a valet stand, ironing facilities, and a safe for umbrellas. My favorite feature, however, was that the room was soundproof. From the living room and bedroom windows, the daytime view was actually less appealing than the night view; Brussels looked a bit run-down with not much to see. Cons: 1. The TV in the bedroom required viewing at an angle, though there was another TV above the refrigerator in the living room. 2. Neither of the two wardrobes had a designated area for hanging wet clothes. 3. The hairdryer required constant pressing to operate and tended to generate static electricity.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to boil water for tea. The bedding was comfortable with several pillow options, and the hot water supply was ample. Everything was clean and the service was excellent.

Great for dog owners, and the location is fantastic. It's a very classic, old-school hotel right in the heart of Brussels. Highly recommend if you're not driving.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, but I found the room too small for the price. There was no soundproofing, so we could hear everything from our neighbors.

Facilities: The facilities aren't very old and are generally good. The only issue was with the toilet's water pressure, and the shower always made a mess on the floor. Hygiene: The staff cleaned the room every day, which was great. Environment: The hotel is super close to the Central Station; you can see the hotel entrance right from the station's main exit, which is very convenient. It's not extremely noisy around, but the soundproofing is indeed mediocre. You can clearly hear people talking loudly on the street, but luckily, there aren't many large vehicles passing by, so it's relatively quiet overall. Service: The staff's service attitude was excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were wonderful. Overall, considering the location and service, I highly recommend this hotel.
