Aparthotel Adagio Brussels Grand Place

The room was dirty. I ended up with black soles on my feet after walking around barefoot. There were also suspicious stains on the wall next to the bed. The hotel is located on a busy shopping street, but I personally found there were a lot of questionable individuals hanging around both during the day and at night, which made even stepping outside for a cigarette feel uncomfortable. I wouldn't return and expected a much higher standard given the price.

All hotel staff, especially GINEVRA and MATEUS are extra-ordinarily helpful. The location is safe and perfect. The only issues are: house keeping and towel change is once for 8 nights, very narrow and impractical design of the kitchen and missing freezer in the fridge.

Pros: The location is excellent. Situated between the old town and the modern shopping district. There is a supermarket right opposite and De Brouckere metro station entrance right beside it. The room meant for 4 adults is spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Apartment is very clean. Cons: We stayed in early June where the weather was cooling so the Aircon was not functioning which is acceptable BUT we had to leave the windows open and the road downstairs was extremely noisy and eventful throughout the night. The kitchen was well equipped but it would be good to provide bigger bowls.

Location was good to get around, amongst shopping and underground stop right next door. Quite noisy at night and homeless outside hotel door. Amenities were very good but air conditioning was not working and it was very hot 32 degrees. Location 4/5 Staff 3/5 Hotel 4/5
