Good clean and cozy rooms, good breakfast, kind staff but not effective all time.

My husband and I have been guests at this awesome hotel for over 30 years. Generally, we come to this hotel twice a year for at least two weeks. This statement alone says a lot about this hotel. This year we stayed at the hotel in May for a month, and again in July for another month enjoying our retirement time. For us, the hotel is like, an oasis where you leave our daily problems outside of the premises. The moment we pass the gate, we sense the good energy. The surroundings are full of vegetation, and the landscape is well-maintained and the lake is another plus. The moment we enter the reception area we sense the warm welcome without even interacting with the staff due to, in my opinion, well-done interior design. All the staff are very polite, courteous, professional, and willing to go sometimes out of their way to solve any problems that may arise. The rooms are clean and comfy. To name a few of the staff members I will start with the bell boys Marius and Ionut. Then the reception team especially Mr. Bogdan Creanga I believe is the supervisor, who has all the qualities for this position, then the receptionist Ligia, Anca, Vlad, Florentina, and many others. The housekeepers, Silvia, Aura, Costina, and the newly hired housekeeper from Sri Lanka are also a very hardworking team and always have a smile on their faces. In the restaurant La Vitrine and the bar, Glucoza restaurant bar has. a great atmosphere nice music, the food is excellent ( they have a very good and talented cook) the staff is polite, courteous, and professional and all the time they exceed our expectations. To name a few Mr. Dan Donca , Mr. Rotaru Mihai, Ionut , Geoge Arius, Valentina. Another plus of staying at this hotel is you can enjoy the Wellness Club ( gym area, full-size pool ), and they have a very good gym trainer. and what we like the most is the steam room, dry, and Himalayan salt saunas. Hotel is ok, but my room looked nothing like the pictures I see here on tripadvisor. My room was pretty basic and a quite worn. Same for the bathroom. Some nice restaurants within walking distance. I was fine staying here for 3 nights but I don’t recognize all the excellent reviews for this place.

Extraordinary food and service. At the restaurant, Mr. Stefan was very nice and attentive, taking the time to engage with the guests, cracking jokes, and offering suggestions on food choices. I sent my friends at home pics of the dishes to make them jealous. I also loved the gym, pool, and sauna, which are free for the hotel guests.

I visit this hotel regularly and have found it to be a great place to stay - good food in the restaurant and the bar, well appointed rooms and even better, free access to the excellent gym attached to the hotel. Strongly recommended if you are wanting to be away from the hustle and bustle in the city centre.

Excellent hotel with a beautiful gym and swimming pool, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the cleanliness is perfect. The receptionists are super nice and friendly! They even upgraded us to the best room without paying the supplement. The breakfast is good and well stocked and there is also a good restaurant. I recommend it to everyone!!! I'm returning customer staying 2 weeks in a row each time i'm visiting. Premium rooms are recently renovated to a high standard. Free access to WorldClass gym including pool and saunas. WineBar is a great place to relax after long hours at work. Valentina and the team serve you with a range of great food and drinks. I highly recommend Hotel Caro for your stay in Bucharest.
