White Hart Hotel

We booked a room here as we’d never been to Buckingham before. Upon arrival, we found a parking space and went to check in. The staff member who greeted us was quite abrupt and not polite at all. The chap who checked us in was great though. We had room 7, ooh lucky 7 we thought. Nope, not lucky at all. Now, the building is old, the stairs creak a lot. The room floor is sloping. The bed is a small double and not comfortable. It’s stuck in the corner so little room around it. The bathroom needs updating desperately as does the whole place. The room is on the front of the building and very noisy when it’s closing time. We had breakfast, had better at other Green King venues. We were there for 2 nights but left after 1 in disgust, it’s that bad. The last straw was the tool flush stopped working

The rooms are in a desperate need of a re vamp very old decor and our shower did not work in room number 1. The pub downstairs is nice and the staff were friendly. As this is a green king facility they really should consider updating . Breakfast was nice

GREAT STAY ! Staff Perfect.............very friendly !!!!!!!!!!!. Food...........even better : Best Traditional Breakfast ...........in years !!!!!! Evening meals...........Fish and Chips and Lamb shank.............superbe!. Can recommend this to " anywone". Continue on the same way. Experience overall was amazing, staff and vibes were perfect. Sam took care of us while we were there, such a joyful and friendly guy, making sure we had the best night we could! Would go back there anytime again, and recommend it to others looking for a good vibe.

Popped into Buckingham with a few friends for a evening out. White heart was the first stop, very nice and cool place for lunch, dinner or drinks! Spacious, airy, great atmosphere and all staff were attentive (especially Sam who served me).

I was a little concerned staying here after reading some of the reviews. However I shouldn’t have worried. The staff were without exception very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Yes the hotel is old and is in need of a facelift ( aren’t we all?) but the room was spotlessly clean and let’s be fair we weren’t paying Ritz prices. Great pub on the ground floor but we were not disturbed by any noise from it. The breakfast was fantastic, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have eaten and what is more served on hot plates! My message to Greene King would be to put the renovation of this pub up your list the staff deserve it.

Great pints, brilliant food, amazing staff. Whether you wanna watch the sport on any number of rather large tv’s, play darts or shuffleboard or just talk with friends it’s the place in town to visit. They also have the best pint of Guinness out of all the pubs in town which is essential for me

The pub and the Bar staff were nice. The Hotel was awful, where do I start!! The room was Smelly and dated. The bathroom door handle was hanging off and Cigarette burns in bathroom. One of the Light bulbs had blown in the ceiling light. Only one bedside table and lamp. Paintwork scuffed on the skirting boards. Cup stains on tables. Couldn't see the TV it was far to small for the size of the room. The smell made us feel sick we couldn't stay any longer so we left around 6pm xmas evening. So dissapointed.
