The facilities are very tired.
The stairs leading to reception are cracked and broken in places.
The second floor of the hotel was being painted and the actual hallway floor leading to our room was covered with black plastic with paint splatters.
One would assume you would close that area until the painting was completed.
The upholstered armchair in our room was soiled.
The shower door would not close properly as the door rollers were off track.
While the location in Budapest was great we would not stay here again.

The only positive aspect of this place is its location — it's conveniently situated. However, everything else falls short of expectations given the price. The facilities, service, and overall experience do not meet the standard one would expect for the cost. Disappointing overall.

Excellent reception guy, very helpful and kind. Good location, near the bridge. Room and amenities are average. Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet.

Overall clean and nice room, but surroundings is very worn down. Location is slightly off center to city, but the hotel room is not very accessible. Small lift and area within the hotel isn’t very clean.

We booked this hotel during the Formula 1 weekend and assume we were paying premium prices due to the event. This is a budget hotel. It's fine for resting your head after a long day of sightseeing but it's tired and basic, which is fine if you're paying budget prices. Someone started drilling at 8am on Saturday which was not ideal. Location is very good.
