Very good location right beside St. Stephens Basilica. The room and cooking amenities were good.

We have just returned from the Magazine Hotel and had the most wonderful stay. Overall this place is fantastic value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for giving us a fantastic base for our Budapest adventure :)! Positives: -We checked in out of hours and the instructions provided were clear and getting access to our room was seamless. Thank you! -The panorama suite was superb. Unbeatable breathtaking views of the basilica and square. -Spacious all around, the bathroom and bedroom had so much room and was tastefully minimalist. -Location is unbeatable, right in front of the basilica and a short stroll to the nearest bus station. Also only a 5 min walk to the waterfront. Most hotels in a location like this would charge a fortune so this is a massive positive for this hotel! -The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and all communication prior to our trip was very clear. Areas for improvement: -The bath plug mechanism didn’t work which wasn’t a big deal as we prefer showers, but just something to note. -The bath/shower could do with a shower curtain or glass screen. We found it a little difficult to shower without getting the floor drenched. -New windows to keep out some more of the noise would be a good upgrade. Noise from the square is to be expected and didn’t bother us, but for those that aren’t early risers the basilica bells tolling from 6am might be a slight inconvenience. I would advise taking ear plugs if you like to sleep in :).

Very Nice place. Excellent location close to the carhedral St ETIENNE. The frontdesk lady was very Nice with a good service. Clean and quiet. Many restaurants very close. You can visit almost everything walking from the hotel. We strongly recommend you this hotel.

I love how the hotel is right smack at the St Stephen basillica. The location if this hotel I think is the prime pull for travelers. Many restaurants in the surrounding areas, multiple bus stops and there is a gelato shop few steps away from the hotel and their gelato is excellent. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly which I appreciate a lot. The only thing that they can improve on is the cleanliness in the room. My bedsheet has stains and the bathroom floors were not that clean. If these things were on point, I would have given this place 5 stars.

Loved my one-night stay at this hotel. The rather large room offered a panoramic view of the square, a big bed and an equally big bathroom featuring a large bathtub. This hotel must be some sort of insider tip, because the price per night is super low for this sort of room at this location and with this sort of view. Two espresso pods were provided to be used in the machine found in the communal kitchen and a water dispenser in the common area (a bit like a living room) was also very convenient. Lastly, I have to say that the staff was very helpful and super nice. They found a great spot for me to get a haircut. Overall, this was a great experience in Budapest and I definitely will be back!

We came to Budapest for the Christmas markets and it was right outside our window! Great room, clean, spacious and good room amenities. The staff were so friendly and would happily go out of there way for you. The whole property was clean, bright and fun. There was even a shared kitchenette area with coffee machine if you wanted to use it. Coffee shop and restaurant right next door. We got the airport bus into the city centre and it the hotel was a quick 5 min walk from the bus stop. Would 100% stay again.
