This old hotel in Buda is incredibly well-maintained! The ventilation system is excellent, so there's no musty smell typical of old buildings. In fact, it feels even cozier and more comfortable than newer hotels. We stayed for four nights, and all three meals were included in the room rate. The room was spacious and well-designed, and the bedding was comfortable. What really stood out was how friendly everyone was – not intimidating or arrogant at all. During our stay, we noticed a lot of elderly guests, many of whom were Viking cruise passengers, as the hotel seems to have a partnership with them. However, this didn't affect the experience for younger guests or families. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center with easy access to transportation. There are Chinese restaurants, KFC, Starbucks, DM, and a SPAR supermarket nearby. Highly recommend!

The hotel is quite large; getting from the elevator to the room involves a lot of turns, so you really need to remember the route and pay attention to the room number arrows on the walls. The service attitude from the concierge to the front desk and housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was rich and satisfying. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old, and some facilities need updating. There were no outlets by the bed, no USB outlets in the room, the hairdryer was ancient, and the shower drain was slow. I don't understand why some people online insist on comparing this hotel to The Grand Budapest Hotel – what's the point of that?
