The hotel itself is a historic building, and the rooms are exquisitely decorated in a retro style, designed by the world-renowned David Collins (who also designed The Wolseley in London, Mandarin Oriental Doha, Hilton Prague, and Madonna's residence). The location is excellent, with views of the Hungarian State Opera House right outside the window. The breakfast is also substantial. Definitely worth staying here.

The room feels old, and solo female travelers might find it a bit unsettling. However, the location is excellent. Breakfast is served in a small corner on the first floor, with limited options. Overall, it offers good value for money, is situated in the most bustling area, and transportation is very convenient.

Wanted to experience a hotel in a historic building, so I chose this one. Overall, it was pretty good. Clean and hygienic, but the room's orientation and floor level are really a matter of luck.

The hotel is right in the absolute city center, next to the Opera House and a Louis Vuitton store, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The breakfast restaurant has a great ambiance, and in the afternoons, many people come to enjoy coffee and take photos with the Opera House. Definitely worth recommending!

The lady at reception who attended us during check-in was very friendly and helpful. Room is big, with sufficient necessities provided. Breakfast at callas cafe was great too.

A superb stay experience! Absolutely loved it ❤️ A fantastic stay in an old European-style hotel! The building seems to have some history, located opposite the Grand Theatre. There aren't many rooms, so it was very quiet, which I loved. I booked a suite, and since it was my birthday, they gave me a warm welcome and arranged a wonderful room with a panoramic view from the top floor. I absolutely loved the room's decor and furnishings. The artwork and lamps were very thoughtful and perfectly suited to my taste. The receptionist was incredibly kind; the blonde, blue-eyed woman was very elegant and super nice, explaining everything about the room and hotel. I'm very grateful to her. Highly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone with similar tastes!

Highly, highly, highly recommended! The room furniture was exactly my style. You have to ring the doorbell to enter from the first-floor entrance; the reception is on the third floor. The next two nights I stayed at the Prestige Hotel, which I found rather unremarkable. Aside from a slightly more substantial breakfast, it was quite average. Many Chinese people stayed at Casa Callas. The receptionist was very helpful, explaining the differences between the various travel tickets, which attractions were worth visiting, etc. The location was also excellent; you could hear opera and shop around right next door. Of course, shopping in Hungary is much less convenient than in Spain, so don't have too high expectations.

It was right in front of Opera Station. The hotel staff were very helpful. While this is common in Europe, they don't provide toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. The hairdryer's power is fine (it dries even long hair). We were also able to visit tourist attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The area around the hotel is safe, so it was no problem for two women to walk there. There are plenty of restaurants within a short walk. There were many luxury brands on the street in front of the hotel. If I ever visit Budapest again, I'd definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also the best I've ever had.

Located next to the opera house, it's a converted historical building. The rooms are large and clean, but the bathrooms are a bit old.

The hotel is superb. It's located right in the center, next to the Opera. The hotel itself occupies one floor of a historic building; it's very cozy and beautiful inside. The courtyard is also very beautiful. It was very warm in the room in November. I should note that the breakfast was rather monotonous, but I still wouldn't discount it for that: it was delicious and in a beautiful location. The people working there are very nice.
