Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta

Great location, large room & washroom, nice amenities; they were not able to accommodate our request for a king/queen bed (rather than two singles), but that wasn’t the end of the world; the only real negative was the elevators… a bit slow when there are large groups and/or lots of people trying to get downstairs in the morning. The biggest plus was the staff/service. Everyone encountered was very friendly. For us, the staff went above and beyond to help us deal with a phone that was lost/left behind by my husband. Communication was at times slow but the team went above and beyond to help us get the phone back after some difficulties with shipping documentation required, etc. Can’t thank them enough for their help in dealing with this issue. Thank you, Martin, Camila (x2), and the rest of the front desk/concierge staff!

Room and facilities rather basic. Room lighting and phone charging points are difficult to use and inconvenient. Toilet facilities again inconvenient Not worth paying such high prices.

Though the hotel is a bit old in the room but staff especially Martin the concerige manager helped me to get a doctor when I was sick. He was efficient, attentive to people’s needs and very professional. 5 star for is work attitude. Enjoyed the breakfast as there is a wide range
