Entikko Safari Lodge

Great pool. Rooms are spacious, good quality, clean. luxurious feeling. Rooms are situated aorund the pool which creates a lack of privacy.

My wife and I recently visited this lodge for 2 nights as part of our package with The Shuttle Hospitality. The welcome dance was a pleasant surprise following a long days travelling. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The food was incredible and William was an excellent waiter and made sure we had everything we could need. We opted for dinner in the boma one evening too and they pulled out all the stops to make sure we had a wonderful honeymoon. Our room was spotless and comfortable with easy access to the pool. If you’re looking for luxury and good service then Entikko Safari Lodge is a must.

I appreciated my time in Murchison. It's private and is very quiet. I love seeing a family of Pumbas grazing near the property without a care of the world. This lodge feature modern fittings and amenities; I love that.

We booked 6 rooms for our group of 13 at Entikko Lodge, through a travel company. Upon arrival, they only had 5 rooms available. They offered to split up the group and send some guests to another hotel (if you have been to Murchison Falls, you will know how far apart the hotels are). Our group had travelled from various places including USA and Europe and everyone was tired so in the end we squeezed into the 5 rooms and made do. Keep in mind, the hotel made no offers to amend this mistake except a late night massage for 2 guests out of 13 (keep in mind everyone was tired and the last thing we wanted to do after the journey was stay awake even later!) . I am still arguing with the travel company to get a refund for the missing room (they claim Entikko has not refunded them yet). Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE. For a "luxury lodge", this was the most budget experience I have had in a while. There are plenty of other places to stay in Murchison (Sambiya Lodge is absolutely lovely and it's locally owned, unlike Entikko) that will actually offer you a real luxury experience.

Children playing ground was an added activity and children felt comfortable as the child minder was present throughout they were playing

I have to admit I wasn’t expecting such luxury in Uganda and we were very pleasantly surprised. The standard of the lodges was excellent and the luxurious touches were appreciated- thick, fluffy towels, good toiletries, comfortable beds and pillows with good quality sheets. The place was peaceful and relaxing- we wish we could have had longer with you. The children enjoyed the lovely pool. The staff were very nice, welcoming and attentive. We loved the welcome of fresh towels, a refreshing drink and the singing! The food was delicious, as was the packed breakfast for safari. Overall we had the most wonderful stay and thank you all.
