The hotel itself is a French château-style building, meticulously constructed with over 100,000 bricks from the ancient Ming city wall. Inside, the guest rooms showcase a beautiful fusion of Chinese and Western design, cleverly blending elements from both cultures. We had originally booked a villa room, but upon arrival, the Yangtze Suite happened to be available. Our butler kindly showed us both Villa No. 12 and the Yangtze Suite. My family felt the Yangtze Suite was more spacious and better suited our preferences, so we ultimately chose to stay there. Personally, while the suite was fantastic, I still lean towards the villa rooms for their enhanced privacy, beyond just the floor plan. Breakfast was freshly prepared, very fresh, and generously portioned. All in all, the Yangtze Hotel offered a wonderful experience."
