There is a private entrance with a courtyard and a second floor balcony. The kitchen has all the wares you need to cook a meal, if you ever get tired of dining out. There is one full bath on the second floor and a half bath on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms, one on the second floor and one on the third, and two sitting rooms. There is a comfortable full size sofa bed in the second floor sitting room. High quality linens and towels are provided. There is a washer and dryer on the premises. Street parking is usually easy to find. Off-street parking for one vehicle is available across the street.THINGS TO KNOW:Maximum occupancy is 4 guests (children included). Occupancy is strictly regulated by the City of New Orleans. Our nightly rate reflects a discount for 1 - 2 guests.Check-in is any time after 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We live in another unit in the building and can be available to answer questions and give recommendations if you so desire. We are also happy to be invisible and respect your privacy.Some Special Events and stays of 30 days or longer may require a larger refundable Security Deposit and/or additional cleaning fees, to be determined at time of booking.Cancellation Policy:Please be aware that there is a ‘No Cancellation’ policy in effect for Extended Stays (30+ days). Just a note for those with mobility issues: The apt is 3 stories high so there are a lot of stairs. There are 5 stairs at the entrance to the apartment. We have 12 ft ceilings so the flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor, where the full bath is located, is longer than what is normal in most homes. Lastly, there is a flight of stairs to get to the 3rd floor bedroom. The bathrooms were added to the home well after it was built so they are small, as one would expect in a very old house. It could be uncomfortable for some guests to maneuver. Unfortunately our home is not suitable for people with limited mobility.A signed Rental Agreement is required within 24 hours of booking.
