We stayed 2 nights at Burgdorf Stadthaus. All the staff was very nice. The furniture throughout the hotel is of great quality. Room is very clean and comfortable. We came with our dog and there were treats as a gift for her. The breakfast is very good (amazing scrambled eggs prepared on demand). The restaurant is very good too. Streets can be a bit noisy, as they are cobbled around the hotel. But definitely worth a stay.

Located in the heart of the old city, the Hotel Stadthaus is in the perfect location. The food is divine; the staff is personable and friendly; and parking was so easy for us. We will definitely return.

Overall a very pleasant stay in a tidy hotel where they staff were very helpful. The building itself is in great condition for an older hotel.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Very Covid aware and ensured that rules were applied.

Wir durften im grossen Saal des Stadthaues unser Hochzeitsfest feiern. Die Kommunikation mit dem Stadthaus Burgdorf war von Anfang an super- es wurde zu 100% auf unsere Wünsche (und unser Budget) eingegangen! Wir haben das gesamte Team um Herr Portmann als sehr freundliche, engagierte und offene Gastgeber kennengelernt. Das Essen war sensationell- besonders der Nidlebrate und das grosszügige Dessertbuffet kamen bei den Gästen sehr gut an. Alle Spezialfälle (Vegi, Allergien) wurden unkompliziert umgesetzt. Die anschliessende Übernachtung im Stadthaus war sehr angenehm- tolles Zimmer und sehr schön dekoriert für uns. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und ein tolles Frühstück genossen. Gefreut hat uns natürlich auch, dass wir bereits am Morgen wieder vom Hoteldirektor Herr Portmann und dem Küchenchef Christian Bolliger begrüsst wurden, obwohl wir doch etwas erstaunt waren, da Herr Portmann am Fest der letzte Mitarbeiter war, der nach uns den Saal verlassen hat. Wir können das Stadthaus Burgdorf für eine Feier nur weiterempfehlen- es war einfach toll!

Top Service, immer freundlich und aufmerksam und dazu feinstes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Auch ein traditionelles Cordon Bleu schmeckt hier noch besser, von der Panade übers perfekt gebratene Fleisch bis zur Füllung. Spannende Gemüsebeilagen die nach dem Gemüse schmecken das man auf dem Teller hat. Das Tartar ist perfekt, dem Gast wird vor dem Service ein „Probiererli“ überbracht um die Schärfe und Würze freizugeben und das Toastbrot wird rechtzeitig nachgereicht. Zu besonderen Anlässen hats auch schon mal ein variantenreiches „Dessertträumli“ geben. Auch bei den Mittagsmenus merkt man sofort, dass man hier von Profi’s mit Freude bekocht wird. Es stimmt, es kostet hier klar ein paar Franken mehr als anderswo, aber es ist das dann auch wirklich wert. Immer wieder gerne!

Das Essen war ausgiebig, qualitativ sehr gut, Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war okay, ich mag einfach keine Teppiche, aber ansonsten sehr charmant eingerichtet und gut.
