Hilton Altay Hemu

Our first stay here was quite a letdown. We were a group of 7, and we chose this hotel because it was advertised as being 200 meters from the ski resort. I even called the front desk to confirm. However, upon arrival, we found it was actually 400 meters or more, and we had to cross a snowy, icy road to get there. My second issue is the breakfast, priced at 280 yuan per person – that's just too expensive! Thirdly, the bed corners are incredibly sharp; you'll get hurt if you bump into them. Be extra careful if you have children. We checked out after just one night. I sincerely hope the hotel can clearly state the actual distance to the ski resort, so fellow skiers know what to expect.

The hotel opening seems to have been quite rushed, and there are still some details that need improvement. However, I still want to give it a five-star rating, all thanks to a staff member named Rain at the front desk. Before arriving, I was a bit apprehensive after seeing some negative reviews. But when I checked in, I added Rain on WeChat, and throughout my stay, he was incredibly responsive and attentive to all my requests, making up for some of the hotel's shortcomings. He truly deserves special commendation!!!

The hotel's breakfast offers a great variety, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the soundproofing is excellent. The staff are also very warm and generous.

A clean and comfortable hotel is fundamental for a great trip. While many民宿 (B&Bs) today offer 'stunning' photo opportunities, I still prioritize star-rated hotels. After all, a clean bathroom with a separate wet and dry area is a must-have. The Hemu Hilton has excellent facilities, and most importantly, it's very new! The service is also attentive, and it's close to the ski resort!

There's a butler named Abdilaziz, and he was truly excellent and incredibly attentive. His service was outstanding, and he's definitely who left the biggest impression on me! I messaged him late at night because I was hungry and couldn't get takeout, and he brought us food from his own dorm. We also needed nail clippers, and he specifically went to the supermarket to buy them for us! My impression of Xinjiang people is getting better and better – it's truly a heart-for-heart exchange! He's an absolutely amazing butler! I hope Brother Abao continues to do well! The hotel environment is also very new and I love it. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

The environment and service here are undeniably top-notch, especially for Hemu. The only real downside was the very limited selection for the Executive Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour. Thankfully, the staff's service attitude was excellent, and the breakfast variety was decent, meeting typical hotel standards. I'd definitely choose Hilton again for my next visit, as its proximity to the ski resort is super convenient. During my two-night stay, I only had staff help with luggage and opening doors upon arrival and departure. It was quite unlucky that there was no one to help open doors when I was coming and going otherwise, which was a bit challenging on windy days – I literally struggled to push the door open! 😂
