We hardly dare write this as everyone will go ! We've had yet another fabulous 4 nights at Northcote Manor. The welcome and care is beyond words. The food just wonderful and my allergies not the slightest problem. To dress smartly for dinner makes it extra special. The beds ,pillows and towels fabulous. All the staff are friendly and make you feel you belong ..then Simon is indescribable...full of fun and banter which we really like..... Log fires..subtle music...wonderful grounds... superb spa if you want to use it ... we can't wait to return ... Thank you all .

Beautiful manor , beautiful furniture and decor in keeping with the house. Service impeccable, staff all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very well presented. Evening meals superb , very fine quality, serving staff very attentive. The grounds are kept to a high standard and a lovely setting for relaxing

The best hotel we have stayed in near Barnstaple in the years we have been visiting elderly parents. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing and uncrowded and the food sublime. The spa was a little hot and the jacuzzi almost too hot, but the views were outstanding and the pool and spa/steam room spot on. Our room looked over the front garden/drive to the hills and we felt totally looked after throughout our 2 night stay. The food was excellent and a quality menu to suit all tastes, with some lovely canapés to start. We found the murals in the restaurant very interesting. This was our first long car journey in our electric vehicle and the spa has a charger which made the trip even more relaxing as we knew we could charge up and get home without stopping on route. The combination of a modern spa, ev charger with the "stately" manor house was a perfect combination and we will certainly return.

Many thanks to Richie, Mitchel and the team for another fantastic three night visit. Superb service and top quality breakfasts and dinners. We would recommend the local Devon beef and sea trout in particular. Look no further than the chocolate fondant for pudding. We also made use of the spa which has been a lovely addition to the hotel. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the summer ( sorry to miss you this time Simon).

The hotel is beautiful, as are the extensive grounds, everything feels luxurious, the spa pool and steam room were great, nice views. My wife said the 90 minute treatment she had at the spa was fantastic. The bed in our room was too soft for me and I woke very early, the breakfast was adequate, portion sizes were small e.g. one egg, one rasher of bacon and a few small mushrooms on a very large plate. We didn’t have an evening meal.

Retired in the area and thought drop in and have a look….not disappointed. Beautiful hotel and spa stepping back in time. We have joined other leisure and spa facilities to be disappointed. This beautiful property know their market place rather than book to overflowing. Less is more. So much tranquility . Go for it!

Wow just love this place, 2nd time here. All staff are just great, its just like staying in a mates house and made to feel spacial. The rooms are so homely and comfortable. The resturant and lounge areas are lovely. Magic spa, pool, ans sauna. My wife had a facial that i supprised her with and i have many smarty points now. Its the perfect out of the way get away.

Northcote Manor is a beautiful place in a stunning setting. The rooms are well presented and the food is gorgeous. However it is made even more special by the fabulous staff. The ladies in the spa are so friendly and welcoming, our therapists were Rosie and Erin and the treatments were wonderful, Lea & Teighan are lovely too and were so helpful with our queries. Emily and Finn who work in the restaurant & bar are a perfect mix of professional and friendly. In particular Emily is amazing and willing to go out of her way for guest satisfaction. She took the time to make us some wonderful cocktails that were to our taste despite not being on the rather limited official list. Management could make more use of Emily’s dedication as she goes above and beyond, and her creations would go a long way to enhancing the hotel’s current cocktail list. Thank you all for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Had the Gourmet Overnight package and the experience was excellent. Both agreed it was the Best Food we have eaten in N.Devon. Room very comfortable and the staff extremely attentive and pleasant. The six course Gourmet meal was great value as the portions were full size and we left the meal more than satisfied. We took the wine pairing package and the chosen varieties complemented the dishes perfectly.
