Toyoko-Inn Busan Jungang Station Reviews

Nice room. Near to Busan station. Comfortable stay. The breakfast place isn't Comfortable though. Feels like a food court/ fast food restaurant. There are so many people and you have to fight for a seat. Also, you are supposed to put things back to tray. Staff dont clean frequently so the tables are always dirty.

This Toyoko Inn chain hotel features the typical Japanese design style, a complete replica of the Toyoko Inn I stayed at in Tennoji, Osaka. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. I stayed in room 1707, which faced the sea, offering unbeatable ocean views. The only minor drawbacks were that the breakfast selection could be more diverse; there was a disproportionate amount of kimchi varieties, and the smell of kimchi in public areas isn't something everyone can tolerate. The hotel's location is excellent. There's a bus stop right outside. To the left are Busan Station and Chinatown, while to the right, you'll find Lotte Department Store, Nampo, Jagalchi Fish Market, and Busan Tower. It's very convenient to get there by subway: take Line 1 to Busan Station (Exit 1) or Jungang Station (Exit 17). If you're walking, Jungang Station Exit 17 is a bit closer. Anyway, the fare is the same whether you take the light rail from the airport, transfer to Line 2, and then Line 1 to Busan Station or Jungang Station. Next time I visit Busan, there's no reason for me to choose any other hotel.

There were stains on the toilet seat, but the location is genuinely great, right in front of the bus stop.

This hotel is very close to Busan Station, just a ten-minute walk away. There's also a subway and bus station nearby, making transportation very convenient. Only the single rooms offer a harbor view; the twin rooms all face the city or mountains. The breakfast is good, but it gets very crowded, so you might have to wait a long time for the elevator in the morning. Toyoko Inn is quite environmentally conscious; rooms are cleaned every four days, and you need to bring your own toiletries.

Since accommodations around Busan Station were fully booked, I reluctantly chose this place near Jungang Station. The shuttle bus service, which was originally offered, is no longer available, so I had to walk to Busan Station. The room and breakfast were the standard Toyoko Inn offerings, just as I expected. Aside from the bit of a walk, there's really nothing else to complain about.

Nice little hotel close to the city center. Very busy at peak times. Close to metro and super clean. Superb views from the room

1️⃣ The nearest subway station, Central Station, is only about a ten-minute walk away. If you take Exit 13, there's an elevator, then you just walk straight and cross one traffic light to reach the hotel. Exit 12 also has an elevator; walk straight from there and cross the street to get to the hotel. Please note, Exits 14, 15, and 17 are stairs! 2️⃣ The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's tasty and filling. The eggs are particularly good, and the juice is exceptionally pure. 3️⃣ You can claim tax refunds at the hotel, but only if you book directly through their official website. I booked through Ctrip; the official website was over 800 RMB per night, while Ctrip was around 260 RMB per night. Naturally, Ctrip was a much better deal. 4️⃣ The space under the bed is empty, perfect for storing suitcases.

Busan is famous for its sashimi. This hotel is very close to Jagalchi Fish Market, and the sashimi there is delicious. This is a Japanese-style hotel, but it's quite clean.

Perfect place to stay at Busan. The location is strategic, bed size is big. There is a humidifier in the hotel room. Bathroom was compact and sufficient. Breakfast is delicious.

The hotel's free breakfast was fantastic! 👏👏🌟 A special shoutout to the fishcakes – a must-have every time. I ate them for 3 days straight and didn't get tired of them. The hotel is also about 1.5 km from Nampo-dong Gwangbok-ro, and Lotte Department Store is nearby.

Location not so convenient, nothing nearby just dilapidated buildings, have to take subway to busan station for food. But the free breakfasts in hotel is good.

Stayed 4 days and 3 nights — everything was great! The hotel is clean, comfy, and super convenient near Jungang Station and Busan Station. Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, and check-in was easy. Great value for money — I’d definitely stay here again!
