We had a wonderful stay at the Dakota in Leeds. The staff were phenomenal and very accommodating, even taking delivery of an item prior to our arrival. It is excellently located, with a solid albeit not spectacular breakfast.
Arguably the only area for improvement would be providing a few more amenities in the room. There is no mini fridge, limited wardrobe space, and the bathroom was a little lacking - no cotton pads, cotton ear buds, or toilet brush.
Otherwise I can highly recommend this place for any stay in Leeds.

AlanAsoundAmazing hotel, perfect location, very clean. I wish I had more time to have a bath, etc!
The staff was friendly too.
A couple of hiccups: my card didn’t work, and another customer had the same issue at the same time, so it must be common. Also my shampoo pump didn’t work so I couldn’t shampoo.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the convenient location, which made getting around simple. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and was well presented. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely consider returning or recommending it to others visiting the area.

Anonymous UserLovely overnight stay at Queens for a concert in the city. Location is ideal (attached to the train station). Excellent, friendly staff. Did online check in before arrival which made it quick and simple to collect key card from the reception. The room was spacious and clean with everything you’d need. Limited noise from outside even though the hotel is slap bang in the city centre. Would stay again.

Sue_AI had a good stay at Novotel Leeds Centre. The staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect - just a 10 minute walk from the train station and close to the city centre. Breakfast could have been better, and my room wasn’t spotless, but overall it was a pleasant experience. I will still recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Leeds for the first time.

TTTHIf you're traveling by train, this hotel is relatively close, about a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 15-minute walk from the city center, both easily accessible. The hotel breakfast is good, offering a basic English breakfast, though the coffee isn't great. The rooms are a bit larger compared to other English hotels. During my stay this time, the bathtub drain was blocked, but the staff went out of their way to help me resolve the issue, and they succeeded. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a sauna, but children are not allowed in the sauna. If children want to use the pool, they must go before 6 PM. This is a good hotel, and I would visit again.

Guest UserThe location of this hotel is amazing, the room is loverly, a few issues with reception but hopefully all put right, it's in the middle of all the shops pubs and restaurants, we shall definitely return, the visit was amazing, car park is right next door, and very easy to access, but it will add £25.00 onto your weekend, but it is central, it's been loverly.

The hotel it's self was brilliant and the location was fab . Got late check out witch again was great but the cleaning was not great BUT I did talk to the lady in the morning and she asked for the photos and flagged it straight away. This lady was fantastic but didn't get her name .
The bed sheets where ALL inside out and the bottom sheet was not big enough so there was a 4” gap at the top of the bed witch was mattress protecter, this had a dirty mark on it that looked like blood .
The whole room was dusty and the spoons for the cups where dirty and it looked like it had not been hooved . I didn't want to course a fuss as me and my daughter had a brilliant night and I didn't want to spoil it .
It was flagged with management so I'm hoping they get in touch with me regarding this situation as obviously I did pay for a clean room .

Guest UserIt was a lovely hotel very clean rooms, comfy bed.
However remember to book your breakfast the night before otherwise it cost £17 per person instead of £14 ( was a bit of a kick in the teeth) buffet style breakfast so food wasn’t particularly hot and we were waiting around for lots of items to be replenished even though it wasn’t to busy.
Big queue for the coffee machine as one was broken so only one working.
Upon check out don’t forget to enter your car Reg if you had parked in the Docklands car park where you get a discount.
All in all a pleasant stay in a great location
