"I thought it was a good idea to be so close to the terminal, but unfortunately, no. The area swarms with quadriceps people when it gets dark. They even tried to pickpocket my 255lb 6'2” man! I booked to stay in the Kennedy Hotel, but when I arrived, we were put in an offsite satellite location called the JFK house (directly across from the terminal). It wasn't terrible, but would've been nice to know ahead of time. You have to walk the small block in the morning to get coffee and continental breakfast. The room itself was decent and adequate for the 2 of us. The bed, unfortunately, was hard and the pillows flat. The bidet was situated directly in front of the shower! In order to get into the shower, you had to walk between the toilet and bidet, then squeeze between opening the glass door and wall to enter the tub. The shower head was useless as it was clogged with lime scale. So we resorted to using the handle only. The room was clean, but could use some paint to cover up all the scuff marks on the wall."

"The single room was absolutely stunning and offered incredible value for money. Its location, just a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini, is absolutely superb. Most importantly, all the room facilities were impeccable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The room itself was spotlessly clean, tidy, and quiet. Plus, there were plenty of restaurants and eateries right downstairs."

Great
GGuest UserThe view is the best. In particular, the executive sea view seems to be the best in Fira Village. However, there is no soundproofing, so you can hear everyone drinking and screaming at dawn. Pick-up service is good (but expensive at 50 euros)

GGuest UserVery close to Termini and an easy walk. Very well lit with simple walkways and adequate for accessibility. The room was clean, with information cards, towels, robes and a simple safe for valuables. There is breakfast available in the dining hall and luggage storage should you chose to walk about Rome before or after your stay. GOD FORBID, you need to use a bathroom on the ground level, however. My stay was perfectly fine until I needed to toilet before our departure. When I asked if there was another bathroom for use, I was told that I could use the train station bathroom  (€1,50) I must have just been another traveler off the street to the staff looking for a sneaky free toilet use standing there with my luggage. After the staff recognized the mistake they wanted to usher me to another bathroom. I opted to pay the €1,50 than to be insulted further. “Good luck in Europe” is the hospitality you can expect in Rome.

JJammers Travel & ToursPerfectly positioned just a short 100 meters from Roma Termini station, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for both train travelers and those exploring Rome. Multiple metro lines, buses, and direct airport trains are within easy reach. You can drop your bags and head out immediately to the city's iconic sights. UNA Deco Roma delivers a warm, attentive atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated in elegant Art-Deco style, complete with a comfy bed, desk, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. While the beds and overall comfort were a highlight, I did notice some minor maintenance issues—like erratic bathroom supply replenishment and average sound insulation in a few rooms. Still, these were manageable and didn't detract from the overall pleasant experience.

GGuest UserWe have booked for one night and yes, we did call them that we'll be arriving very earlier, like midnight to 1 am and asked if we can just stay in the lounge because there's also a 24-hour desk. We're probably gonna stay at least 3-4hrs tops cause we're planning to see Rome very earlier to get decent pictures before tourists arrive. They told us yes, and that we can also do earlier check-in like 1-2pm if the room is ready. We have arrived and the receptionist was very rude right from the start. There's also one foreigner before us who clearly doesn't speak Italian. The receptionist was all over the place, commenting about how come people want to book earlier, mind you we understand everything cause we also know how to speak Italian. But when it was our turn and told him everything, he basically turned us away and that we cannot stay there. It's fine, no problem, but we did asked if we could just stay a little bit to find another hotel to stay for the night, a little 10 mins won't hurt anybody but no, he did tell us to go outside and literally throw us away, mind you we're 2 girls outside of Rome at 1-2am in the morning, the least you can do is let us stay inside until we get another place to stay. After 10mins outside with no hotel to book and 3 men we're coming towards us with a bag that you can literally tell they stole, we forced ourselves back at the hotel cause we're very scared and YES, THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD US NO AGAIN, even though we told him that there are 3 men  5 ft away from us. He told us that his work is also dangerous because the door was broken, which is by the way not our fault. We didn't have a choice but to book for the night that costs us 170 euros, from 1am-11am! After we paid and got our key-door, it's like nothing happened, he's suddenly very accommodating, very talkative like he didn't throw us away 10 min ago.  This was the worst 3-star hotel I've ever been to, everything is perfect apart from that old receptionist. Never again!

בבלVery clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.

MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either. The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it. The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.

DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house. I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.

MMarcos 305We stayed at the Hotel Madison in Rome for a short stay, and overall, we would describe it as more of a convenience hotel than a tourist destination. It's perfect for travelers passing through, thanks to its excellent location right across from Termini Station, the main train and bus terminal in Rome. Room & Facilities The room appeared clean and recently renovated, but it was quite small. It had all the basics, including a functioning heater and a TV, and the bathroom was spotless, with plenty of towels provided. However, the hotel doesn’t give off a tourist-hotel vibe — it’s more of a practical choice for those who need quick access to transportation. The front desk service was professional and efficient. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the reception area looked modern and clean, which made a good first impression. Breakfast Experience One of the most positive aspects of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel has a chef preparing fresh food on the spot, with several assistants ensuring everything runs smoothly. There was a wide variety of hot dishes and plenty of food available, with everything served fresh and hot. We noticed that guests seemed very satisfied with their breakfast experience, and we felt the same. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Madison is a solid choice for a short stay or a transit stop in Rome. The location across from Termini Station is ideal for those who need easy access to trains, buses, and the metro. The rooms are simple and functional, and the breakfast was definitely a highlight. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient stay, this hotel does the job. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the convenience and excellent breakfast!
