Compared to other Novotels I've stayed at, this one fell slightly short in service level and amenities, with no recognition for Platinum members. I'm unlikely to stay here again, but I must admit that the cleanliness and friendliness of most front desk staff, particularly one who went "above & beyond" to assist me at 1.30am (Sorry I couldn't remember his name)

Very nice hotel. Spacious room with double bed ( very very comfortable) and they also open the sofa bed since we were 2 adults and two children. The sofa bed was comfortable and big enough for two adults. Bathtub in the bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee. Small fridge At the entrance there is a fountain water with still water and sparkling,. We paid for the breakfast and it was worth, big variety and very good

This hotel, located in Bussigny, about 15 minutes from Lausanne, has some nice features -- the rooms are generally pleasant, the breakfast is good (although not cheap), and the restaurant is high quality. Unfortunately, there are some shortcomings that keep it from being really top notch. The housekeeping is spotty -- one day all of our towels were removed by the housekeeping staff but none were replaced. On another, the cleaning was incomplete. The air conditioning was fairly noisy. And like too many hotels these days, even in summer they give you a heavy comforter that necessitates cranking up the air conditioning to sleep comfortably. If you're going to be in Bussigny this is a reasonable choice (there's only one other hotel), but needs to do a bit of work to be a really good choice.

I have no words. Unbelievable in a 4 star hotel and 150 euros a night. I had many other problems, but COCKOACHES AND SPIDERS, were the top of them. No cleaning, the floor is carpeted, so i prefer not to imagine how many bugs are there. Be aware also, becuase they take a deposit from you, but then they do not use if you have breakfast (27 euros per peson) or dinner or lunch. They will use your card again. They just keep for themselves this deposit and will not give back, till who knows when. In my case, 6 days after they took my money, i still dont have it back. It is a shame that Accord allows this Hotel inside the chain, and it only shows management does not care a damn about customers. NEVER AGAIN THIS HOTEL. I WANT MY DEPOSIT BACK!!!!

For a business hotel you would think the front desk staff would be competent enough to do their job. After countless stays I became increasingly more fed up with dealing with the Front desk. I am asked to verify my billing address prior to check-in but I lost count of how many times the bill ends being wrong anyway. The staff at reception always seem disinterested in their jobs and seem to have lost any passion they might have had. You should have a better grasp of what is important for your guests and in my case I had made it clear on multiple occasions it was a bathtub but this simple request was rarely met despite mentioning many times I would rather wait longer for such a room than have an early check-in. My advice to others would be to pay a little extra and stay at the Movenpick. I honestly regret not having done this sooner.

I stayed 12 days ago. Still did not receive my 400 dollars deposit back. Never trust such hotels. Just read other opinions, do not make the same mistake i did. Now i will have to denounce them to get the money back. A shame for Accor

Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent restraint and choice of foods at breakfast and evening meal. We stayed for a total of seven nights in two stays during July. Including sharing the hotel with three Tour d' France cycling teams. A first-rate uncomplicated hotel with excellent staff.

Good location for a holiday (many sights within one hour) or a stopover (near highway), friendly staff, nice swimmingpool and fitness, tasty breakfast and a big Samsung smart tv (Netflix via smart view van Samsung :-). Also, not unimportant, the hotel and room were clean. Compliments for the housekeeping. We enjoyed the hotel very much. We booked the hotel for 4 nights.

We loved this hotel - peaceful and relaxing stay on our way to ride mountain bikes in the alps. The rooms were beautiful and dark at night and the are con was really useful. Thoroughly recommend for families or couples.

I never got a chance to stay here so cant speak to the quality of comfort at the hotel, however I can speak about the customer service. The staff and management are very dismissive and unsympathetic. They will say anything to not give a refund, no matter the circumstances. My fiancé and I had not traveled internationally in over 5 years and this would have been our first trip together. We were denied boarding at the airport because my fiancé’s passport did not meet Switzerland’s 3 month validity rule for passport expiration. Her passport would expire in September and we were traveling June 27 - July 5th. We were not aware of this rule as we haven’t really done much international travel, although I admit we could have done more research. So you can imagine how devastated and upset we were to find this out at the airport, all packed and ready for our trip. We had to turn back and there was no way for us to get an expedited passport in less than a day due to all the wait times brought about by COVID. We booked this hotel at a non-refundable rate, however I don’t think it matters because even if we had booked a refundable rate we would have missed the cutoff time to request a refund as we would be staying here the day after our flight. We explained the circumstances to the hotel staff and management and pleaded for an exemption to get a refund but were denied. The hotel staff kept deflecting and insisting that I must contact the travel agency that I booked. I had already reached out to the travel agency and they would not approve a refund unless the hotel approved a refund. The travel agency suggested I could try and reason with the hotel which is why I contacted them directly. However, there was no reasoning with the hotel staff. We had back and forth communication over email and they didn’t consider me their customer, they considered the travel agency the customer and did not want do deal with me. I even asked if a partial refund was possible but still got denied. I would stay clear of this hotel and wouldn’t count on any refundable rates to help either because if the timeframe for a refund has passed, they will not give a refund.
