Very well attended by Mawar and her colleagues. Would have given five stars for amenities if not for the full day power shutdown, although they did provide private transfer to business lounge with food provided, early check in and late check out. Pool was very clean. Immediate surroundings did not have much to offer, but there’s a 24 hour 7-11 (with very reasonably priced good cappuccino), zus coffee and soon to open Cold Storage.

We had a very pleasant stay at Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, with well-maintained facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and very comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The service was efficient and professional, and we felt genuinely welcomed. We also enjoyed the hotel facilities and the overall ambience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great place to stay in Penang. We would definitely consider staying here again and would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The public facilities area upstairs was under maintenance and closed, with no prior notice. Definitely not worth the price.

Been repeating the hotel as it is a top-notch for me. Variwty of breakfast range. Tidy and spotless rooms. Views are nice. Only that we need to circle up to the guarded parking space, but for me it's a small matter. Recommended!

I honestly had the best time here! Room was beautiful, breakfast was great, and the pool is just amzing! I will not recommend this place if you are looking to tour penang island as it's pretty far, and not much is around the hotel (walking distance).

This is a relatively new hotel. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the rooms are clean! The service is excellent! I've stayed in many hotels, but this one has the most extensive breakfast selection – they even have salmon! The only minor drawback is that finding dinner options nearby can be a bit inconvenient, although there's a 7-Eleven downstairs.
