Location wise, there are other hotels charging similar prices that are closer to the railway station and the ferry terminal.
For the room I was assigned, it was spacious enough, but the bathroom is impossibly small. That was the reason I did not extend one more night. In fact, I was thankful I did not book 2 nights at one go.
I also do not like the type of blanket used. I am not assured it was not used by previous guests.
My room faces the road. But it was not noisy. I was able to sleep through the night. My window looked out onto the hotel's lighted signage
Oh yes, if you are unable to climb steps, do not book this hotel. Rooms are situated on the 1st floor upwards. There are no ground floor rooms. My room was on the 2nd floor, and the water cooler is on the 1st floor, so I had to go down and up to refill my bottle.
Even though trip.com had informed me there was a tax of RM2 to be paid to the hotel, the staff who checked me in said I need not pay for anything, but a deposit of RM20. When I bring bacj the aircon and TV remote control at check out, the deposit would be refunded.
Yes, the hotel provide left luggage service. I left mine behind the reception desk after check out
