Overall it's pretty good. There are a lot of places to eat around. The guy at the front desk has a really bad attitude. He's a little cold and very arrogant. Of course he might be lazy.

Safe would not open dead battery, bathroom door would only close around halfway it was scraping on the floor, bathroom faucet was loose and wabbling, could not adjust the room temp to hot to cold crappy unit, lamp shade was broken no guide on the TV had to scan 50 channels to find out what's on, toilet bowl would not fill by its self had to hold down the handle, other than that OK.

The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. My kiddos loved All the breakfast options. Having access to almond milk and soy chocolate milk was the top of their list! Thanks for a great stay!

Needs better communication with the housekeeping. We extended our stay a night. So, husekeeping knocks on our door- no big deal we tell them we are staying. 20 minutes pass and another housekeeper knocks on our door and proceeds to enter our room, we stop her and again reiterate we have extended our stay. At this point we call the front desk to ask them to speak with housekeeping and tell them the issue. Following, 2 more housekeeping staff knocked on our door and had to be told we had extended pur stay. Extremely frustrating and if we had not been in our room multiple staff would have likely entered our room without permission.

Went to Grand Rapids to visit the Miejers Gardens. The hotel was coviniently located for us. The room was very nice and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The only bad thing was our coffee maker in our room did not work but the morning breakfast buffet had plenty of coffee and a good selection of breakfast items. Would recommend this hotel.

My reservation was given away. Had a two queen reserved, only had king room available when I checked in. I was offered an additional room at an outrageous three hundred plus dollars a night.
