Solmar Resort Reviews

We stayed for two nights before moving to another resort for a two-week stay. We arrived early because airfare was much cheaper on Thursday compared to Saturday. The property was extremely clean, though a bit outdated. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It was very quiet during our stay—one of the pools was empty the entire time, and the main pool was never crowded. A few of the restaurants were also closed. Despite that, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the staff were so nice. But the location is way up the hill and difficult to walk anywhere and the prices to purchase food and drink at the hotel was ridiculously expensive.

A quiet and lovely resort that’s about 15-20mins walk to the marina. All staff members were extremely friendly. Enjoy a tasty margarita by the pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Everything else was very satisfactory, except that the shower water was not very hot during the first two days of my stay. I asked the front desk and asked the maintenance staff to come and see, but it was still warm. I guess the boiler operator didn't set the water temperature correctly. It was fixed today. It's good value for money.

The room is relatively old, it is a suite, very large, with a kitchen and double balcony. The building we stayed in did not have an elevator. The hotel is next to Sandos and Waldorf, and there is a small cape. You can watch the sunset in the evening. If you are lucky, you can also see whales on the hotel beach. It is very cost-effective.

The room is very spacious, and the balcony leads directly to the swimming pool. The facilities are complete, and the bedding and linens are also very comfortable. The service staff is warm and polite, and the day trip recommended by the front desk is also quite satisfactory. The beach is clean and quiet, the scenery is beautiful, and the holiday atmosphere is full, impeccable. If I have to say something bad, the restaurant has few choices, the dishes are few and the prices are high. But since everything is expensive here, it is still within the normal acceptable range.

Check in very late until 4 pm. You cannot use the Grand Solmar pools. Wrong room at first, I had to ask to change the one I mainly paid for. The saturated pool. They charged me a service charge at the restaurant and it is not specified on the menu. The good thing is the beach, very beautiful and there are not many people on that beach. The room I had is large with a nice balcony.

There was a problem with the flight; in Istanbul, I and about 60 passengers were not allowed on the flight, although we were checking in. I contacted the hotel and asked for a refund, although the amount was not refundable, THANK YOU for meeting me and changing the dates. Thanks to all TRIP.COM managers and hotel staff.
