The hotel is new and clean and well maintained , but if you need to eat I’d avoid this hotel . We are family of four with two small children , having driven from south of France all day we were using this hotel to catch the ferry early in morning . Arrived at 8 , and went to restaurant for something to eat having been left at the desk for 5 minutes at 8.27 and lady approached with menus when we requested a table said no service available and when questioned “ sorry you have no table in a restaurant occupied by 3 couples only “ yes we are closing and unbelievably turned her back and stood facing the other way in an arrogant and rude stance whilst we left dumbfounded . Minutes a later a local gent arrived and was seated immediately . The helpful lady at reception advised a restaurant to eat which meant getting our campervan out of the nigh**are car park , and travelling for couple of kilometres. When we arrived back at 10.30 there were still people eating in the hotel restaurant, so the only conclusion is it was us being British or having small children meant we were unable to eat there .. shocking any UK travellers I’d avoid this hotel if possible
