Crystalbrook Bailey

The hotel is located in the city center, with many popular 'influencer' restaurants nearby and very close to the night market. The hotel is relatively new, and we didn't get to enjoy its facilities much as we were busy exploring. The lobby has an artistic vibe, and most of the reception staff were quite welcoming. The room size wasn't huge, and we found a stain on the duvet cover. After contacting the hotel, a staff member came to change it right away. The coffee capsules and tea bags provided in the room were replenished daily, and the iron was very convenient to use. We had a comfortable stay.

My overall stay at the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors, and the hygiene was top-notch. The facilities were relatively new, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful stay. The staff were very welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The hotel had informed me in advance that slippers and toothbrushes weren't provided, so I brought my own, which didn't detract from the overall experience. It's great value for money and highly recommended.

The room was very clean. I spent a long time looking for a hotel, and most of them seemed old and outdated. This one was newer, so I quickly chose it. I got a courtyard room with a small balcony, which was perfect for sitting and enjoying a beer – very relaxing. The front desk staff provided service in Chinese, which was a really thoughtful touch. They clearly marked the locations of the shopping mall, pharmacy, and night market, which was super helpful. The only way to get to the hotel is by taxi from the airport, but overall, I was very satisfied with the stay.

This is probably one of the best hotels in Cairns. It has a swimming pool that's cleaned daily, and the breakfast is abundant. It's close to the beach, the rafting meeting point, and the pier. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bed is comfortable. It's likely the best hotel I stayed at during this trip to Australia.

Overall, I was satisfied. Looking at the elevator's indicator board, the Holiday Letting apartments go up to the 4th floor, and residents start from the 5th floor. So, if you want a higher floor, it's best to book a hotel room type. The room rates at this hotel fluctuate a lot. I'd advise against booking non-refundable rates. Instead, start monitoring prices a few days before your stay. The room type I booked dropped significantly in price the day after I made my reservation, and that was less than a week before my trip. I booked a non-refundable rate then and learned my lesson. The cleanliness was decent. There were some stains on the duvet insert, but that's quite common in hotels. As long as the sheets and pillows are clean, that's good enough. Most people don't pay attention to the duvet insert anyway. Be prepared that the hotel generally refuses early check-ins and late check-outs.

The room was quite clean, and the shower had great water pressure, which made for a very comfortable shower experience. The sofa in the room, paired with a small table, was perfect for reading or having tea, very relaxing. The soundproofing could be better, but overall, it was quite good, and the facilities were very new.

Excellent hotel! Great location, comfortable rooms, and complete facilities. Highly recommended.

This is a very new hotel in Cairns, and the location is quite convenient since Cairns is so small that everything is within walking distance. The only downside is the bed is a bit small, but I would still consider staying here again.
