Amazing experience. The place is clean and tidy and the installations are great. All the staff where super helpful and friendly during my stay, specially Lucía! the best.

I tried checking in on the 17th of April I Booked through hostel world paid deposit amount went to check in and was refused check in because I don’t have a credit card have stayed here off and on for 6-7 years never needed it before but be advised that has change a very arrogant girl told me that even tho I stayed a month previously I wasn’t allowed to check in after working all day and driving 4 hours I wasn’t allowed greeted with no help and a miserable situation I then went and had to pay again to stay at Gillian’s and had no issues sad to say that after tell people to stay here for years I will not be anymore asked to see this new credit card policy and was told she could not provide it then told me to leave and that she wouldn’t bother her night manager with it obviously there is little care for others and is genuinely disappointing to see that that is the quality of service

Had a lovely time at summer house cairns very chill vibe relaxing in hammocks playing ping pong escaping the bustle of cairns. Also very easy access to the airport at the end of my trip to fly out would recommend

I wouldn’t even stay here for free. The kitchen never gets cleaned and even if you’re lucky to have 5 cm to make some food you have to HIRE cutlery that’s dirty with leftovers stuck into the plastic mugs. The staff is also not helpful at all. We arrived at 11 pm, tired after a long bus trip and even if there was three people in the reception, only one was helping people while the others slept with their eyes open, not kidding. The charge a deposit in case you loose the key card but don’t tell you that you have to bring back a small plastic bracelet. So if you loose that you owe them 20$ And don’t even get me started on the showers. There’s toilets under the shower so be prepared with flip flops if you don’t want to stand in brown water… cockroaches everywhere as well🤩 never coming back byeee

A fun hostel with lots of activities and excellent service at reception, especially from Alice who’s always welcoming and helpful.

Everyone there was amazing, especially Alice and Luca, very welcoming and offering a nice chat. Everything is run smoothly, clean, they have everything you need and they’re organized. Highly recommend everyone stay here!
